Casino Royale, one of the best movie of the franchise and for Daniel Craig particularly. He has done a great job not only to uphold the status of Britain's top class agent but also took his character into the next level..
What Bond movie do you feel like watching?

Mid-May: getting to be LALD time for me again - as soon as we get a warm evening so I can go out for a brisk walk afterwards, with 'Trespasser Will be Eaten' running through my mind.
This one just inspires me to shake off the winter/spring indolence. It also calls for a costume change, from the all-black rollneck ensemble of the climax to the black short-sleeves and tan slacks of New Orleans Airport.
"But I've only just arrived." From the first time I saw the trailer early in '73, has a man ever looked so damned good?

Sounds good.
Of course, here in Australia, we are heading into winter....

AVTAK is next on my re-watch list - and I´m absolutely in the mood for it.
However, there is this "Mad Max: Fury Road"-film in the cinema right now... and although I had planned to re-watch the first three before I go to see the new one, I probably can´t wait.

On my lunch break last week, there was an assortment of Mad Max Fury Road vehicles parked outside the Sydney Opera House.

I watched Skyfall last night. Still a great movie, however I like the ending at the lodge less than I used to. I think it's an area where SPECTRE could possibly improve upon its predecessor, and thus make an even better movie.

I love Skyfall but I've never liked the ending at the lodge because "people trapped in a burning building" has been done so many times before and it was all very melodramatic. However the final two scenes of the film are great.

Last week we watched Never Say Never Again to round out Connery-Bond. I think I was the only one who watched it having remembered it - my brother swears he'd never seen it before and my Dad seemed like he'd seen it but didn't really remember much of it anymore.
This weekend we'll probably watch Goldeneye - since I did Roger before Sean, might as well do Pierce before Timothy. Plus I know my brother's never seen License to Kill whereas we both saw Die Another Day in the theater...

With my Vegas trip on the horizon, I'm quite in the mood to put on Diamonds Are Forever tonight.. (I'll be sure to pay my respects to the now closed Riviera when I get to Vegas and imagine Bond and Plenty at the craps table.. )

After having seen GF for the first time on a big screen today(the first time for me for a 1960s Bond film), I want to watch TB, YOLT and/or OHMSS on a big screen.

Craving some Thunderball - mainly for Fiona Volpe, but also for some SPECTRE shenanigans!

Finally getting round to watching THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN to mark Sir Christopher Lee's passing. I know it's traditional, or cliched, to praise a performance at a time like this, but Scaramanga really always has been among my top Bond villains. They've tried the villainous mirror image of Bond a few times, but none better than here. The film, of course, has its weaknesses, but there are definitely a decent number of strengths too.

Diamonds Are Forever. I'll be moving to Kansas soon, and this film has a Kansas reference

With the Independence Day weekend coming up here in the colonies, I'll have time to fit in a Bond film or two. I haven't watched OP in a while, so that may be up first. Then maybe TB.
