Absolutely no way on earth!!!!
DAD is gut-wrenchingly awful. It makes bad films look good....

Keep in mind you also have some very bad stuff in the previous twenty...
Just take the bad with the good.

Everything I am reading about Casino Royale says to me there is nothing new about it. Same Bond movie formula as always with a new actor. That does not mean it is a bad Bond movie.
It's rather different to every other Bond film in fact. So what you have heard is BS.
The Pre-titles sequence is in black and white with old film-noir style cinematography and there is something different with the gunbarrel shot, just for this film to show Bond's earning of his double O rank by carrying out his first 2 execution jobs.
The film is generally darker and more hard edged and violent, and the mission very quirky, as was Fleming's style. There is one particular scene in the film which I believe will break the boundaries of the Bond film quite considerably, and with Daniel Craig as 007 acting this scene it will push the character of James Bond to a much deeper level.
There is no Moneypenny or Q in this one, they are not needed in the story, and something happens to Bond which has never happened in any other film.

'santajosep' didn't mean anything by telling you to "grow up." it is just that when you post a topic as such (what with the mentioning of the supposed rumors you heard, Iceheart) it doesn't exactly settle well with some. if there are indeed previously undiscovered rumors, please, do tell.
oh, and Happy Birthday

Series 2? It's just a reboot. It's still part of the same James Bond series. It just doesn't share its continuity. Not like the previous twenty had any. Oh yeah.. passing references to his wife once every 5 films.

Series 2? Nah, more like Series 6 or 7.i wrote this because i was angry about the whole "series 2" idea for CR
Don't sweat the rumors and just go see Casino Royale yourself and for what it is: an origin story set in the present day. No big deal, considering even the mere possibility of strict continuity went out the window with Roger Moore.

All the usual location
Gambling
Girls
Bond and M arguing
Aston Martin
Product placements
A lover betrays Bond and is not what he though
I don't care if there is scenes in black and white and care even less about the origin of James Bond. It is the same reason I wasted 2 hours with Batman Begins. I thought I was going to see a great story but all I saw was good acting and directing but the story was crapped out. It was scene after scene of telling me why Bruce Wayne talks like this, dresses like that, lives like this, how did he learn kung fu, how did he get his suit, how did he get his car. etc etc etc I was waiting for all that to be over so I could see a new original story but there was nothing new. Yet another bad man and big action scene in the end with buildings falling down and all that.
So what I am really saying is don't try to me with hypes like that about new and original and dark and gritty and super spectacular genius never been seen before. If I know what to expect I can enjoy it much more than if I am told it is the real deal like they all said before the last James Bond came out.

THERE NEVER WAS ANY.

I'm sorry we were all so hard on you, and Happy Birthday. Try and stop stressing, go and see the film when it comes out and enjoy it, it's still James Bond, after all. It may also help to at least look through what you've written before you add your post, check the spelling and punctuation and, if you think what you've written stands then feel free to defend yourself and you won't owe us any apologies for it. Just try not to have a little tantrum on the forum (yes, I am aware I sometimes let it spill out without thinking before anyone bothers to point it out) and we'll probably take you more seriously.

You like your films dull then? Good thing I dont, because I'm actually going to enjoy Casino Royale.
