True enough, but what worries me is his claim that everyone at his table disliked the song. He may very well be exaggerating, but it seems as though, from this report, the general reaction was negative.I don't think we should worry about what this guy has to say considering his favorite Bond song is TND by Sheryl Crow.
Honestly, I can't say that I'm surprised. These things are subjective, of course, but Cornell has never struck me as a talented writer or performer, and none of his Soundgarden or Audioslave output has impressed me.
But, then again, I'm not exactly a Carly Simon fanatic, and her "Nobody Does it Better" is a classic. So I'll keep my fingers crossed.
