I always pronounced it as lay shiff-ray for some reason :tup:

That's closer to what I thought it was (leh-shiff-reh), although perhaps such a pronounciation has been influenced by one too many Pep

On the topic of the music (which...yes, synth keyboard but I still think sounds kinda cool) does anyone know if this is an original work for this segment, or if it comes from somewhere else?

she seems to pronounce it exactly how it sounds in french.... albiet.... with a bit of an anglo accent...

In CR'67 it's pronounced as 'sheif'. Me, I always said 'shiff-ruh'.

Didnt they pronounce it 'Shiff-ruh' in the Barry Nelson version?

I believe it was 'sheif' in some parts of the CR '54 version.
