I'd love for bond to go to a place like Indonesia and visit Jakarta, for a covert operation or a chase scene through the busy traffic, and Bali for a final scene with his Bond girl ..
I spent about a month in Bali last year and I'd love to see it used as a location in a Bond film. It's a truly beautiful country and largely untapped by film-makers. It has areas of untamed natural beauty in the north and luxury 5 star hotels in the south which makes it pretty much perfect for Bond.

Helsinki Central Railway Station

Kiasma

Etc.
Obviously Lapland is quite nice, and they could shoot some cool chase scene there. If they are going to shoot in Finland, they should do it in winter. But I guess that Finland ain't good enough for Bond, and I'm okay with it.

Always liked that building, too. It would be very cool in a Bond movie.I think they could shot the pre-titles sequence in Finland. Some places:
Helsinki Central Railway Station
If Bond will ever visit Vespers grave - what would be an interesting thing with an older Craig, maybe in his last Bond movie - they could use the San Michele Cemetery in Venice. It´s a square cemetery island with a wall all around. Bond alone in a boat driving to this island in the sunset may be a nice scene, a little bit inspired by the impressionistic painting "Isle of the Dead".

I would like to see more tropics such as Florida, Bermuda, Dominican Republic. Or more really of The U.S. would be nice. It doesn't need to be in NYC or LA. I have been to both and wouldn't really want to see a Bond movie there. Well my brother a marine was stationed in San Diego and we drove around Mt. Soledad which would be great for a car chase or just as a location. Or Chicago would also be cool. No influence from TDK though.
Tropics are great, however these have been used extensively in the last 2 films. I really think the 3rd Craig film will be at least partly based in Asia and have a mountain scene of some kind. As others have said urban & rural Japan would be a great setting. Cambodia too for its ancient ruins - something missing in the Craig films so far.

Valencia, With action from the futuristic city of science and art out through the marina to the ocean.
Mexico, for a lull in the action. The village of Campeche can be used for relaxation conjouring up images of olden times and pirates plundering the coast line of Mexico.
New York City, from the hustle and bustle of the big Apple then moving quickly on to the quite of Hawaii and the Opaeka Waterfalls Falls in Kaua.
From the dry steppes of Kazakhstan's capital Astana to the ultra modern coastline of Macao in the South China seas.
AND, if Eon want a story line they can check out To Kill and Die for in the Fanfic section.
I will settle for a small percentage of the profits (pretty please lol)

Perhaps the mountains of Chile/Argentina.
I'm from Chile, I think you're refering to the southern Andes, which is a very good place for snowy scenes with several of ski centers (in fact, was originally studied for shooting the final "russian" sequence of QOS).
Personally, I would also suggest other territory of my country, for Bond: the Easter Island.

Not sure of the actual name of the range. I just remember there are mountains in the more central/southern parts of Chile that run along the border and spill over into Argentia. That the Andes?

That's probably it then. Admittedly my knowledge of South American geography is rather poor, especially compared to my knowledge of Europe and the Scandinavian regions.

Too bad they never went to the real Montenegro for CR but filmed everything in the Czech Republic.
What about Mont St Michel or Carcassonne in France? Too close to Britain to be considered exotic enough for Bond?

It's funny you should mention that about so few people knowing where it is; one of my best friends is from Moldova, which is a tiny little nation sandwiched between Romania and the Ukraine. When she came to my college last year, just two people knew where it was: me and her. She gets so frustrated trying to convince people that it's a real place that she's taken to introducing herself as Russian.

I know where Swaziland is. It's almost entirely enclosed in South Africa, saved by a stip of border shared with Mozambique.

Maybe Bond travels from Swaziland to Moldova in the film? lol What's really sad is, I know people who have never heard of Belarus. Belarus is a rather large country. You'd think anyone who's seen a map of Eastern Europe -- which just about everyone has at some point in their life -- would have seen Belarus at least once. Last year as a part of my history class, every student had to teach the class for a week. It made up 75% of our grade for the final quarter. We were covering World War II for the umpteenth time, and I decided to share my knowledge of random things with the class instead of follow the curriculum. Now, bear in mind we had gone over maps of Europe numerous times in the class before then; when I told the class the heaviest activity by Russian partisan groups was in places such as Poland and Belarus, one of my classmates actually thought I was making up a fictional country named Belarus.
