I've been to Venice, and more specifically, the Piazza San Marco, featured in Moonraker, Casino Royale, and technically could be seen in FRWL.

I watched a friend of mine sit on the ground while another guy poured birdseed all over him, and he proceeded to be covered in pigeons. You couldn't see him at all for a few seconds.

I never thought I had anything to contribute to this thread, but I have actually been to one Bond location -- New Orleans Louis Armstrong International Airport.

I went down there to cover a story just about a week after Hurricane Katrina hit. For the most part, Bond was one of the furthest things from my mind. With all the military vehicles and damage caused by Katrina, it looked more like Apocalypse Now or some military picture.

But I do remember thinking if one of the damaged hangars was one of the ones Bond goes through with Mrs. Bell.

I'd like to get to many of the places, but little things like time and expense may prevent me. But who knows?

I think the best one for me was James Bond Island from TMWTGG.

I will have to post some photos at some point. I really felt like 007 when I was there!!!

Forgot: Also been to the French Quarter in New Orleans, and New York City (LALD). I suppose LAX must count, from DAF, so that as well.

Still waiting on Bond's long overdue trip to Rome so I can claim that one... :cooltongue:

Well I myself have only been abroad to Majorca, so no Bond kudos abroad for me.

But I DID get a picture in the pose that Brosnan used when he used the secret key to access the underground MI6 HQ in 'Die Another Day' on the bank of the Thames next to Parliament Bride (I think), with the old wooden door.

And lasy year my Mum and Dad went to Italy, and Venice, and were taking photos around St.Marks Square featured in 'Moonraker' and 'Casino Royale' (and I guess 'From Russia With Love'), which I DID get envious about in the Bond lore. Dad knew about Moonraker with the dodgy Bond-ola, but that's it!

And my Mum even had her picture taken on the spot where Daniel Craig stops on the Venice bridge and see's Vesper on the oppsite one walking across, which I find very unique to find as CR hadn't even opened and she hit the spot first time. Very proud of the parents with that photo!

:cooltongue:

When I was in high school we took a family cruise and Jamaica was one of the stops. Our cruise ship docked beside of the bauxite mine that served as the exterior of Dr. No's hideout on Crab Key. I also got my picture taken on 'James Bond Beach' which is the beach that Ursula Andress made her famous her appearance on.
