Yes, beautiful place. Flasher then where Bond and Vepser went to in the book but this is the cinematic Bond. I hope they take advantage of the location's beauty this time with some memorable slower paced character driven scenes between Bond and Vesper in different parts of the hotel (presuming this is what it will be used for) and not have a tightly edited extremely quick scene like Havana in DAD. What a waste. Eon has or atleast had forgotten that Bond is not only about fast paced non stop action but beauty and culture. I remember Purvis and Wade originally said that Royale would be very much a location driven film this time around. I hope this hasn't changed.

After years of dull locations (see TWINE) and blue screen (see DAD). It is great to see these pics.

I guess it's supossed to be a slum. Kind of insane that one has to go to The Bahamas and rent a resort in order to have a scene set in a slum. I guess all the real slums are booked.

Isn't there a glorious sense of extravagant panache that dictates a decision to go to the Bahamas and turn it into a slum?

Apologies for dragging up an old thread, but following the recent photos and videos over the last week or so, and having read script reviews, I have noted many similarities with the publicity photos of Albany House. I was wondering whether people generally agree with my assessment that Albany House will be
Spoiler

I'm always quite interested in trying to work out which piece of the film is portrayed by which location. It's a bit of a guessing game until the movie is released! Don't know if anyone else agrees though. But the locations we've seen up to this point are most definitely beautiful - the best for a long time.
