Well I looked over the AICN article again and I think it's all just a fan who submitted a rehash of the genuine scoops from Stax and the report about Byrne from the daily mail and threw in the whole "no Le Chiffre" thing as a way to stir up contraversy in the fan community. This person acts like he has the inside scoop and knows more than most. I think the way we will no for certain is if it this person does know more than the daily mail and Stax is if we do get and official confirmation today that Byrne is indeed Vesper which is what this "scooper" claims to confirm. If this does indeed happen I'll buy it for now, if not, than no use getting worked up over "no Le Chiffre" until we hear otherwise from EON/Sony.

Could be or as Mr.* says elsewhere they may have gotten one part wrong or it may have gotten pushed back. Who knows? We'll find out when they do announce the cast if this is correct--then we will DEFINITIVELY know if Le Chiffre is in the cast or not.

Am I right? Because, either way - the guy didn't say "according to reliable sources" or "I have it on good authority" - he said 100%, honest to God it's gonna happen. And it may still - the day is young. My only point is when you put your self out on the line like this guy did - you better hope it pans out. Otherwise your credibility will be questioned.

No offense taken--if this person is wrong about the Friday announcement then YES question his credibility I agree. But it doesn't automatically mean everything he says is wrong(though that is possible too). That's all i'm saying. And that goes with the Daily Mail saying Rose is Vesper and will be announced on Friday--if not announced on Friday then we could doubt she got the part and maybe Thandie or someone else got it. But Rose could still be Vesper even if the Daily Mail is wrong about the Friday announcement. Filmmaking is a fluid process and things may change abruptly. And in the end we will know very shortly who is Vesper and if Le Chiffre is in CR when the official announcement comes. Until then we don't know for sure what source is correct or partially correct.

I think we're on the same page - I agree with everything you say - I think you just misintrepreted the point I was making - my focus was strictly on this one person at AICN and how he put his reputation on the line by how he crafted his words on his scoop - all the other info on whether the Daily Mail is right or wrong - whether Le Chiffre is in the movie - whether its Friday, next week or after they start filming - doesn't have anything to do with what I was saying. I think we could go on for ever so I'll yield to hopefully more interesting discussion. In the meantime, if the person who provided the scoop reads this - and if Bryrne is not announced today - I hope he learns the lesson of crafting his words more carefully in the future - that's all I was hoping to get across.

Yes I think we both made our points anyway--the mole could have worded things better I agree and we will find soon if the info provided about Le Chiffre is correct or not soon. Anyway on to new Bond issues.
