How does everybody seem to forget that Roger Moore actually was blonde, too?

View Post

Because I never realised he was. I thought he had (admittedly fairly light) brown hair.

But blonde?

Roger Moore blonde?...

Light brown, maybe... Medium Brown, yup... Brown, yup...

I can't find any picture of Roger in which his hair appears to be blonde!

I am more interested in how short it is, he has about a month before filming starts on Casino Royale and I wonder what length his hair will be for it??

IMO it needs to be just long enough that the lock of hair can fall over the right eyebrow. I always hated the fact Brosnan had short hair in TWINE and DAD so this was not present.

Silly little thing I know but I don't like Bond with hair too short.

It was more blonde than brown when he was Simon Templar. They trimmed him up for Live And Let Die, so I don't see why they wouldn't do this with Craig.

Of course Roger Moore was blonde!

But not obviously so in the Bond films.

I think the same will apply to Daniel Craig.

Craig will no doubt receive hair extentions for playing 007. Connery had a rug from day one. Dalton and Brosnan both had "fillers" added to give a fuller appearance. Dalton is probably the closest to Craig in terms of hair fullness, style and length. the promo picture with Craig as 007 certainly looks as if he has a lot more hair than in his other publicity photos. It's an easy fix.

This is wrong. They had nothing done to their hair.

Craig will not have hair extenstions. No need to.

Craig has extremely thin hair. But if they keep his hair like in the Pphoto, maybe no one will notice.

BTW, I'm pro-Craig

Craig comes off as a actor who needs extra attention to his looks for Bond, people who say looks don't matter matter much for Bond are wrong, if they were suppose to hire a young actor for Bond, they seem unsure how to make Craig look more Bondish, in some pictures yeah he's looks a bit Bondish, but it's not a good sign. I think he hasn't aged that well for his age, if he was like 3-4 years younger, he'll just be right for Casino, but I think he looks a bit too old for his first Bond film, despite his actual age being young, but actual age and phyiscal age are different things, Roger did LALD at 45 for his first Bond and looked just the right with the youth.

They didn't need to toy with the idea of bond begins, bond starting out, craig is wrong for that, they did all that as a way really just to nix Brosnan out of it completely, but it can back fire on them.

Would you stop talking about Brosnan in every post you write? It's getting really annoying. This is a thread about Craigs hair, not about how Brosnan got fired.

Maybe he can have the stubble during the hospital scene or the end but I think that should be the extent of it. Bond and facial hair really don't go for me.

I think his hair is still blond even in those pictures. The coloring in the picture is what makes it look darker. I bet they wait until the actual filming to do the color they want his hair to have.

And, if they indeed color his hair it needs to be no darker than Roger Moore's hair in his films. If they go darker it will look stupid especially in light of the fact that everyone knows in real life he is a blond.

IMO, get prepared for a Roger Moore look and dont get your hopes up for a dark Bond.

Stubble in the hospital scene is a must! In the book he feels his stubble scratching the sheets and judges roughly how long he's been out lol.

He has to have it there. Luckily Craig has very good and rather dark stubble so it looks fine if he has darker hair, shaved his slight shadow looks normal in films where he has very dark brown/blackish hair even.

The eyebrows need the most attention IMO.

As the photos from the respective press conferences for The Visiting and Casino Royale show, Daniel Craig had longer blond hair then. The newest photos of him (available at WireImage.com) show him with shorter, darker hair. These pics were taken Dec 20th at a private screening of MUNICH in L.A. With filming for CR set to begin in a mere few weeks, it appears that Craig won't quite be "James Blond."

Nice jacket but hell he's ugly.

James Purefoy would've been a far better choice.

Lundgren for the SMERSH agent. You could add some double confusion stuff somewhere along the line. It'll be great, trust me.

No stars!
