As the photos from the respective press conferences for The Visiting and Casino Royale show, Daniel Craig had longer blond hair then. The newest photos of him (available at WireImage.com) show him with shorter, darker hair. These pics were taken Dec 20th at a private screening of MUNICH in L.A. Its a flattering pic of Craig but he still has a nose that needs a nip/tuck.

exactly. That's the colour his hair should be. Maybe a tiny bit shorter. Not too much though. They will "tan" him, as they did in GoldenEye; where they gave him an outdoor colour to go with the little stubble he had.

I have to agree that it doesn't look like he's dyed his hair at all in those shots - simply the non-studio lighting creating an illusion of a darker hue.

Personally, I prefer his hair a little longer than those shots - hope they let it grow a bit more before the cameras start rolling...

It's shorter, but it still looks blonde to me. I'd like to see it very dark brown (near black), and his eyebrows as well (like in The Jacket).

So, then, there's our new Bond, pretty much (perhaps he'll have his hair and eyebrows dyed, and hopefully he'll lose the stubble). Personally, I think 007 should have longer hair. Not calling for someone who looks like Lennon in his hippie heyday, of course. But perhaps someone who looks a bit more like this:

I think if he looked like this without the stubble and with a dark brown hair colour he'd be perfect.

I think he has a very Daltonesque look in SYLVIA. Perhaps too much so, though - maybe having his own, unique Bond look would be better.

at the end of the day, i can't see them allowing Bond to be Blonde. Otherwise they know they REALLY will get backlash then. Because of their choice of actor, they know the film will be watched and critiqued even closer.
He WILL look as Bondian as possible, that IS for sure.

How does everybody seem to forget that Roger Moore actually was blonde, too?

Craig's hair is usually blonder than that. Or maybe he dyes it blonder and is actually darker/dirty blond? My God, when did we all turn into West Hollywood hairdressers??? Anyway, here are some pics of him blonder. Frankly, I think they should have left him looking like he did at the press conference (last pic), although I'm sure they'll cake him with make-up for the movie like they did there. I'm fully aware Rog was blonde, BUT, the image of James Bond 007 is further cemented in the minds of people 22 years on. I am 100% sure there will never be a blonde 007 in our time.
