well, take a look at this video
I just hope we get to hear:
We're not indestructible,
baby better get that straight
I think it's unbelievable
how you give into the hands of fate
Some things are worth fighting for some
feelings never die
I'm not askin' for another chance
I just wanna know why
There's no easy way out there's no shortcut
There's no easy way out givin' in can't be wrong
I don't wanna pasify you
I don't wanna drag you down
but I'm feelin like a prisoner
like a stranger in a no named town
I see all the angry faces
afraid that could be you and me
talkin about what might have been
I'm thinkin about what I used to be
there's no easy way out there's no shortcut home
ther's no easy way out givin' in can't be wrong
Baby, baby we can shed this skin
we can know how we feel inside
instead of goin' down and endless road
not knowin if we're dead or alive
some things are worth fightin for
some feelings never die
I'm not askin for another chance
I just wanna know why
there's no easy way out there's no shortcut home
there's no easy way out givin in givin in can't be wrong no
there's no easy way out there's no shortcut home
there's no easy no easy no easy way out
(repeat and fade)
Superb song that!! One of my all-time favourites. In fact, the montage car scene in the film using that music is great too (one of the best bits in all 5 films).

Very retro - take out the word "Balboa" and it could easily be a poster for a reissue of the first film.
A reasonably "classy" poster, especially by Stallone flick standards, but it's also a bit boring and a little lazy in the way it just rips off the original artwork. There's "hommage" and then there's "ripoff", so I'm told, and this just looks like the latter to me.
Of course, as a Rocky fanboy I quite like it, but will it get regular folk into cinemas? Time will tell.

Personally, I avoid anything with Sly Stallone in it like a cat avoids water.

Which is fair enough - his films are usually awful. But he has made a handful of gems.
If nothing else, see the original ROCKY if you haven't done so already. It really is a great film.

So here's the new poster:

I like it. Of course its reminiscent of the original Rocky poster, and deliberately avoids any attempts to look like a "modern" 2006 poster. Its in a similar vein to the CR poster in that both focus on the stripped-down, iconic image of Bond/Rocky without any other window dressing. It works because even if you can't read, but have seen the original Rocky, you'll know what this poster is.
Hiding Sly's age? I don't know about that. The trailer quite clearly acknowledges, and plays up his age. Its pretty much the whole point of the film isn't it...does an aging Rocky still have what it takes, and all that.
Hmm - notice the PG logo in the bottom left hand corner? PG, really? Two dudes beating the crap out of each other is rated the same as, say, Open Season?

- A brief montage will show all the glory moments from the first five films, probably when Rocky is sat in Mickey's old gym tenderly clutching a dusty boxing glove.
- Rocky will walk down the street in his all black outfit bouncing a rubber ball.
- Between the 60 and 70minute points of the running time, Rocky will be down in the dumps more than at any other time in the movie.
- Paulie will say at least one thing that is completely unintelligible and contributes absolutely nothing to the scene.
- Adrian will tell Rocky that signing up for another fight could be a risky
- Rocky will retaliate by telling Adrian "This is who I am! This is what you married!"
- Adrian will try and get her way by pledging to get her old job back at the pet shop.
- The moment Adrian agrees to the fight is when the scene changes to a montage of Rocky skipping and running.
- Rounds 1-2 of the big fight will be shown in full.
Rounds 3-14 will be shown in highlights.
Round 15 will be shown in full.
- A ringside commentator will make a joke about Rocky's age.
- Rocky will get beaten up at first and then come back.
- The film will end with a freeze-frame shot of Rocky with his hands in the air.

However, Adrian is dead in this film, making a number of those references entirely irrelevant.
On the poster - yeah, it's a rip-off. But appealing to nostalgia about the first film is the only way this film will make money, so it's in the right vein.

So let's predict what we're going to see in the film...
LOL! Also:
- Rocky will make at least one really lame joke that no one will find funny (see, for instance, the one about turtles getting shellshock in ROCKY).
- Failing that, his somewhat shaky grasp of language will throw up at least one zinger, along the lines of his mistaking condominiums for condoms in ROCKY II, or his ignorance of what cojones are in ROCKY V.
- Boxing promoters will be portrayed as slimy, doublecrossing jerks.
- Rocky will mention his desire to be more than "just another bum from the neighborhood".
THE FIGHT:
- At at least one point, Rocky will yell "Hhhhrrrrrrrrnnnngggghhhhhhhh!".
- There will be at least one "comic relief" cut to Paulie at ringside wincing at the mayhem, making quips and yelling "Go get 'im, Rocky!". He'll also be seen taking a supposedly sly hit of the booze, but probably in another scene.
- Stu Nahan will appear as a commentator, delivering pearls like "Well, I'll tell ya, it's nothing short of sensational that Balboa could come back from a beating like that", in a voice that strongly suggests that he really doesn't give a
- As the fight reaches its end, there will no longer be any such thing as a supporter of the other guy, and everyone will be chanting "Rocky! Rocky!". Yep, that's everyone in the world (apparently).
- Any one of the hundreds of punches thrown would in real life probably kill a man stone dead, and all will land with a highly unrealistic sound akin to that of a cannon going off. All will connect, none will be blocked, not even haymakers that would be spotted half a mile away by even the most broken-down old pug.

Let's not forget the obligatory pre-fight training montage set to a power ballad, where Rocky and His Opponent will be seen training intensely, Rocky favoring 'old school' methods like weightlifting, sit-ups, medicine ball, etc.
More from "THE FIGHT" :
- The opponent will easily dominate Rocky at the start, leading the commentators to speculate that the fight will be stopped
- Several particularly brutal punches will be seen in slow motion, with Rocky's contorted face in close-up
- Rounds 3-14 will be shown in a montage, with "intense" Rocky theme music playing throughout
- Despite being dominated for the entire fight, Rocky will amazingly turn the tables in Round 15
- Various comments that will be heard throughout the fight :
"Balboa's in serious trouble"
"Balboa is showing an incredible amount of heart to be able to stand up to that beating"
"One more punch and it could all be over"
"This fight started as an exhibition, but now its a war!"

Towards the end of the fight, as he rallies, Rocky will start taunting his opponent, albeit in his usual gentle and polite way. He'll keep repeating something like "I ain't through yet, I ain't through yet", proving it at the same time.

There are about a hundred of these you could do for Rocky films. Several more..
- Rocky will visit Adrian's grave and say to the headstone "I'm sorry. I gotta fight".
- When Rocky finally starts beating up his opponent at the end, a quick shot of Paulie will show him repeatedly slapping his hand down on the canvas with a big grin on his face.
- Rocky will visit THAT statue at least once in the movie.
- Rocky's opponent will be told by his trainer "What the hell are you playing at out there? He's just an old man!"
- A news report on the TV will describe Balboa as "Philidelphia's finest son!".

-Rocky will visit the priest for a blessing before the Big Fight.
-The pre-fight press conference will feature The Opponent being intense and angry, whereas Rocky will be down-to-Earth and will joke around; it will end with The Opponent shoving Rocky and the trainers having to separate them. This will segue into the Training Montage Scene.
-At the start of the fight with the referee going over the rules, Rocky and The Opponent will glare intensely at each other, both of them being seen to be at least a foot taller than the ref.
-Anytime someone is knocked down in the fight, the countdown will be in slow motion, complete with slowed-down counting : "Ooooooooonnnnneeee......Ttttttwwwwwooooo....", together with shots of the trainer/Paulie saying "Gggggeeeeeettttttt Uuuuuupppppp!"
-The word "comeback" will be said 57 times in the movie.

There'll also be the moment where they exchange a last pre-fight taunt when they bump gloves, and the opponent will either laugh like Satan or say something belittling like, "This IS your last fight," and Rocky will retort with something really defiant and intimidating, like, "Go for it."
There will also be the sound of a climactic series of bell tolls when it really gets down to the wire.

A rave review on AICN:

Will this descend into the "no, it's a fake review" stuff - or does anyone care?
