Words cannot describe the time I had at BCW so I'll keep it short: thank you to all who made this a great event, especially Matt & Janine and great to meet so many cool folks.
BTW, glad I could be an inspiration to John and Athena...NY is really worth the extra few days!

-the Bond 45 restaurant
-Matt and Charlie as their respective Bonds
-Her Majesty's Finest "Special" Service
-Bond vs. Tee Hee
-trs007 tries the seafood
-zencat deep in thought
-the room servce at the Waldorf
-lastly, I just thought this was a nice photo
EDIT: Might be a good idea to ignore the phallus-shaped leather..."thingie"...in the last photo.

Oh, who am I kidding...
More to come...
As you may gather, we didn't have any fun whatsoever...
No....
Really.
EDIT: Renamed a few and added a few.

BTW - I love the "Bond Crew Classic" shot.
Paul (Kerim) and GeorgeAnn (Leila) and 003 with our own Kara in the BG walking in sipping champagne and Zencat reflected in the mirror. Great aside from Paul. When Leila and Flicka greeted each other and hugged, he leaned to me and said "Whatever happens next, do and and say nothing."
It just doesn't get any better....
Then again...

Paladin and I have a plan.
Umm...I'll have to book off 2 vacation blocks, then Charles? Not that there's anything wrong with that. The more Bond, the merrier, I say. Just include me in some of your pre-event madness, if you will. Life can sometimes be so dull without a good magnum...

Details to follow, but there's a way to do a Bond weekend without lining your pockets and making it an experience for everyone. No walking involved.
To quote Pierce in GE - "Trust me."

We also went to Amityville to visit The House, and had a very strange ghostly encounter. I'll write it up in detail a bit later.

I think "The Univex Slurp" was a discarded short story title, if I'm not mistaken.

Las Vegas would be a good one as it's fairly close for those of us on the West Coast. A cruise would also be pretty cool or even an all inclusive in Nassau for the TB locations.
Was there a "death march" again this year? NY can be hot in the summer. Can't wait to see the official story & photos.

Cricky Bryce. What was the price tag on that Magnum, Mate?.
Oddly a bit cheaper than expected old boy.
It was one of their last Magnums of the '95 (excellent Bond year and year for Dom) and was just enough for eleven to have a glass and a half. It was also ice cold. Somewhere, Fleming was smiling.
Truth be told : About $375.
and worth every penny.

Holy water. But I was also nursing/blessing the glass of 1963 Glenlivet I started with.
LOL Yes, I can imagine the expression on his face.004 wept like a little girl when I told him. Poofter....
The bubbly came with our appetizers.
I started Casino Royale last night and all I could think of it you.
