Double-Oh-Zero you don't know how much I love you right now! I'm SO glad this picture turned out so well on your camera... whoever had my camera didn't quite get the proper angle -- it was no good. I'm SO happy yours turned out!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

I'm hoping to have the "BCW8 Locations Locations Locations" article done by the end og this next weekend. :) I'm going to try and save all my photos till then (aprox 1000 pics).

Well, I wrote up a long article. I know that Matt wants to keep his secrets very secret, so I sent it to him to make sure I didn't accidentally blurt. So as soon as I get the all-clear, that's a long essay; maybe 1000 words or more.

...and a good time was had by all.

Will say this much: Bryce throws one hell of a party.

More to come later, possibly including a detailed analogy/short story based on the whirlwind of events that transpired over the course of four days, by yours truly.

For now...

Double O Zero, the Octopussy photo of John and Athena is genius! :) :) :)

Brilliant!

I just wanted you to know.

Guys, hope a good time was had by all. Certainly looks that way.

BTW, I didn't know "suave" was spelt B-R-Y-C-E!

Thanks for keeping the British end up in NYC.

:)

Now that it's all over, where in Harlem is the location of the Filet of Soul? I know that Matt Sherman found it, and was going to surprise the BCWers with a visit to it.

The surprise was that it isn't in Harlem. But I will leave it to the folks writing up the official reports on the weekend to tell you where it is. I must say, Matt found some really interesting NYC Bond locations.

Athena and I are packing for our return to LA tomorrow and watching LTK on AMC. A perfect way to end the week, I'd say.

*shakes head*

Yup...

She did it again.

Flicka creeped up to the highest service area of the Waldorf and scaled the roof. Bypassing a security door on her way. FOR REAL. Dee backed her up along with Falco watching their backs and documenting the journey.

Having reviewed the pics, I can't - yet again - believe she pulled this off on her own initiative and with a few cohorts....While I entertained the masses. Perfect alibi.

You gotta love her spy-chickness.

*shakes head again*

Yeah, I'm not revealing Matt's locations. He did a HECK of a lot of research finding them, and I hope he publishes them under his own name.

If I was asking prior to BCW 8, I could understand the retinence to revealing the surprise of the location of where the Filet of Soul scene was filmed. BCW 8 is history. I don't think Matt would be hurt if it's location were mentioned. Hopefully, as Zencat mentioned, it will be pointed out in the inevitable official report.

I would tell you, TheSaint, but I honestly don't remember the intersection. 49th and something maybe? All I know is it wasn't in Harlem, that was the surprise.

We're just back today and my head is spinning with the amount of big news on the CBn main page. May take me a few days to catch up. :)

We're transfering the pics now and can you believe we took exactly 1000 photos (and several video clips). But these are not all BCW. During our extra days we toured some Houdini locations, etc. Some of those pics will be on my Houdini website.

[quote name='Athena007' date='29 August 2005 - 09:34']...the best part by far and what really made this BCW special was getting to hang out with a number of fellow CBn-ers that we've never met before (Double-O-Zero, TGO, trs007, Johnboy, North Scorpion, Kara M and also Univex owner Greg

I'll leave the locations and big story to Athena, but in the meantime...

IT'S BRYCE TIME! (it's like Miller Time but a lot classier)

Yes, there was much debauchery over a few nights that I just had to have a hand in.

I had some help though.

Selected bits from the now infamous "Axworthy's Eleven" night at Tavern on the Green.

"Oh the humanity..."

....not to mention the tab :)

My apologies for making this seem like a big deal. I've always been curious as to where that scene was filmed and, as I wasn't going to be attending BCW 8, I figured it would be ok to ask after BCW 8 was over, and the location was no longer going to be part of Matt Sherman's surprises. Suddenly it seemed as if I was asking for the combination to Fort Knox.

No need to ask Matt about it, Athena. If it's not revealed in the official report concerning BCW 8, it won't be the end of the world.

Oh don't worry, TheSaint. It's not a big deal at all. I can get the location for you, no prob.

I'm going to be doing the official report like I did last years. More like a journal entry. So specific location details won't be in there -- particularly because the "death march" kills brain cells and I don't remember the exact locations of everything - LOL. :)

Love this picture, it's such a great group shot. It was taken outside of Rockefeller Center. And so everyone knows who everyone is... (left to right) North Scorpion, trs007, Greg from Univex, Double-Oh-Zero, Athena007, zencat and Johnboy007.

This was our group shot from costume night. Costume winners... Tomorrow Never Dies mini-Bond & Wai-Lin on the BMW bike of course!

ROTFLMAO... oh my goodness... that is just a very strange photo. LOL

I keep trying to figure out why my middle-finger is on the trigger of that gun... makes no sense. Unless I'm a trick shot or something.

Here you go, Saint. It's at 2nd and E94th street. It was a facade even back then, but the building that the facade fronted is also gone, replaced by this modern building with a pharmacy on the ground floor. The Filet of Soul was there on the corner. Matt found it by identifying the red building across the street with those windows and the distinct design that looks like three squared fingers pointing down. That and the fact that if you freeze the DVD in the right place you can see the "E94 Street Garage" sign up the street.

Just a preview of what's to come. :)
