British Columbia or the US Northwest (Seattle)---very scenic, good atmosphere No need to wait for "Brokenclaw The Movie" to shoot in such locales;

Australia seems to have it all, and no wonder, it's huge; so many locations and interesting backdrops. You have gorgeous facades (Sydney) and then the outback for a contrast. Don't just shoot on Australian sets but do location shooting ala Bonds past;

New Zealand, same as Australia (looks to have such diversity of flora, fauna, topography)

Easter Island, Gallapagos Islands for the exotic locale element that I miss

Bermuda or Puerto Rica (Let's see our man solve the Bermuda Triangle :) )

View Post

The Bermuda Triangle would be great.

The sunken ship/Villain hideout could be located in the triangle, and when a British spy plane, satellite or something of importance vanishes into thin air, Bond is sent to Bermuda to investigate and discovers that the villain is pumping certain gases into the Bermuda Triangle in order to make the air thinner, thus, causing planes or helicopters to fall from the sky. He has a hidden antennae to block out radio transmissions to and from the plane, so that it appears the superstition has become a reality. (It's all becoming so clear...)

Another similar location to the Bermuda Triangle is called The Devil's Sea It is located in Japan and has the same superstitious following as the Bermuda Triangle

Canada has a huge variety of possible locations, the rockies in the west, the metropolitan centres (especially Toronto) and the (as noted) very scenic and atmospheric British Columbia. The Trump Tower would be nice on screen in the future, as well as the modernist Toronto City Hall and CN Tower.

Hong Kong. Very atmospheric and a suitable back-drop to a Bond picture. Most recently seen in Die Another Day but wasted seeing as it was just a picture of the city plastered behind Mr Brosnan. Could be interesting to incorporate some ideas into the plot given that the city is now (unfortunately) back in Chinese hands.

Australia, finally, has many iconic buildings and natural treasures that would look beautiful on screen. Sydney was utilised wonderfully in MI:2 and provided a magnificent location. Of course, the fact it was used in that film negates the possibility of its use as a Bond location in the near future, but Brisbane has a very nice skyline too and would be soemthing different.

Why not do one entirly in Europe. If so, how do these countries sound:

- Italy (Rome)
- Germany
- Estonia
- England (for MI6 stuff and maybe an action sequence)

Cannot really see a Bond film set for a significant length of time in either of those countries being a particularly pleasurable experience.

Meanwhile the Bahamas would be quite nice again, and contemporary Japan on the big screen would be something of a treat (still haven't seen Lost In Translation). I can also see some of the stunning scenery of Norway being utilised well, however I stand by the choices I made previously too.

How about:

Cambodia - exotic, mysterious, and just a bit edgy.
Falkland Islands - I kind of like the idea of this wild, wind-swept place at the end of the world. And there's penguins!
Ecuador or Peru - jungle! Mountains! Volcanoes! Inca ruins! Spanish architecture!

I'd say:

L.A

New York

Or the whole movie taking place in the U.K! London would have some great action sequences...

Bucharest, Romania.
The Karakoram Highway.

View Post

Two very good suggestions. Every Bond era kinda seems to have favorite locations, and Bucharest seems like a Craig-era location to me. The Karakoram Highway is also a great location. I've always liked the Khyper Pass as a future location. It's very much like the the Karakoram Highway.

And as a third option, I'll throw in all of Africa.
