TSWLM, before poor ol' Roger croaks. It has a great PTS that could be played out, some wonderful action scenes and fights, and spectacular locations (Egypt, the train, Stromberg's base). And needless to say, Jaws.

Then, OHMSS, with Lazenby of course. The fights would be the best, and the scenery I imagine breathtaking, but the ending might be a let down, unless the game broke some rules and allowed for Bond to get revenge then and there.

LTK could also make for a really fun game: there could be some firefights right off the bat, chasing after and capturing Sanchez' plane, Bond doing some detective work at Krest's place, sneaking around the Wave Krest before avenging Sharky and doing the whole drug-busting/water-skiing/fighting-for-control-of-the-plane bit, the entire bar fight scene, probably some miscellaneous spy-type stuff thrown in Isthmus to make up for the lack of action there, and of course the final tanker sequence.

I would also be quite content with a TLD game, which would certainly be a hell of a globe-trotting adventure.

You Only Live Twice is probably the most VG friendly, though for legal reasons, they may have to change the villain's identity.

Would make for some great locations.

For me, it's seriously a tie between TSWLM and OHMSS. Of course, Spy is the likelier choice considering Roger would much rather do it than George.

I've also had Licence to Kill on my mind...

I would say Casino Royale, except we all know that's already been confirmed as the movie they'll adapt next.

I doubt they'll adapt any more old movies, probably just stick with the new ones here on out.

Obviously Royale will be next. If Bond 22 is not directly following, with a direction of Daniel as Bond, Goldfinger is HANDS DOWN the ONLY LOGICAL CHOICE. There are too many possibilities and it would draw a great crowd. Add a golf in-game where you play golf as James Bond, and it will be an instant best-seller, instantly catapulting it past the performance of From Russia With Love (while a GREAT game, an underachiever).

So what does everyone think is a logical choice now that Casino Royale has been canned?

I'd like them to do a Moore game (even though I'm not a gamer so wouldn't buy one even if it were made). THE SPY WHO LOVED ME would be a guaranteed moneyspinner, but perhaps it'd be a cooler move to do one of the supposedly "lesser" ones, like THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN. At any rate, enough of Connery for now, let's have Moore's Bond back in action.

I think that a game with a new storyline featuring Daniel Craig would be the way to go. Or, if not Craig, then a new storyline with the return of "Generic Bond" from Agent Under Fire.

If EA wants to revitalise the franchise, I'd love to see each mission correspond to a Bond film. Perhaps a Dr. No level, an AVTAK level, an OHMSS level, etc. I would suggest a generic Bond be used, as it might confuse players to have a different looking Bond in each of the different missions.

It could be similar to what Eidos did with Tomb Raider a few years back. Since she was presumed dead in the one before, the one after had her friends gathering to talk about and remember her previous adventures. If I'm remembering correctly, it was titled 'Tomb Raider: Chronicles'.

Yeah, DAD, since people may not want to accept another 'classic' Bond game, sadly. I'd like to see Thunderball, and maybe Moonraker, but that'd be hard if they based MR off of the book, not the movie. Or OHMSS...but that'd be hard to do, too!

An OHMSS FPS that has a revenge thing at the end would actually be a really cool idea

I think we'd see a Moonraker-film adapted game much sooner than one adapted from the novel.

IMHO the best movie to do a game on next would be The Spy Who Loved Me. It is a perfect fit for a video game. Think about the levels (each number is a level in a major area:

MOUNTAIN SLOPES LEVeLS
1. A ski chase with a running gun battle - ending with a leap off a cliff.
(you could throw in a gun battle before hopping on the skis as well).

SUBMARINE LEVEL
2. Defending your submarine against capture from a large oil rig.
(fire on the tanker, stop enemy henchmen from invading your sub).

EGYPT LEVELS
3. Fight on the roof tops in Egypt (& shoot 'em up with the enemies).
4. Fight with Jaws in the pyramid (& shoot 'em up with the enemies).
5. Fight with Jaws in (rats - can't remember my Egyptian landmarks) - the place with all the large pillars (& shoot 'em up with the enemies).

TRAIN
6. Gun battle and fight on a train - again with Jaws and other henchmen.

LOTUS RACING
7. Race in the lotus against torpedo wielding motorcycles, henchmen in cars, and helicopters.
8. Drive off the pier in the Lotus - destroy the helecopter above the water.
9. Throw in an underwater battle.

TANKER LEVELS
10. Shoot 'em out gun battle on board the tanker along with the sub crews.
11. Figure out a way to stop the missiles.
12. Escape from the tanker.

UNDERWATER SEA BASE LEVELS

13. Gun battle with henchmen protecting Stromburg.
14. Find and fight Stromburg
15. Final fight with Jaws.
16. Escape from the Sea Base.

SPECIAL UNLOCKABLE LEVELS (FROM OTHER MOORE MOVIES):

17. Stealth shootout with Scaramanga from TMWGG
18. Boat race with machine guns, mines, ending with hang gliding, etc. from 19. MOONRAKER or LALD or blend the two together somehow.
20. Ski Chase from FYEO

Add in multiple weapons unlocks, gadget unlocks and various gadgets, interviews with Roger Moore and others (unlockables), have Moore do his voice (I don't think he sounds as aged in his voice as Connery - or is that just ME?), Video clips from the movie, great multiplayer levels, and LAST BUT NOT LEAST - SOME REAL investigation to move you through the game - some brain work involved - not just gun battles - puzzles to figure out in between gun battles, fights, racing, etc.

And, wouldn't it be cool if they could have a shooter where you could switch from 1st to 3rd person depending on your preference at the moment? (I don't know if this last "game wish" is possible - but the others are.

This is what I wrote on IMDB

I dont think they should make any more based on the movies. Now, a whole new Bond adventure set on the Connery-Moore era, would be good. But please, original story. I enjoyed more of EON's story than the story in FRWL videogame. Gives more freedom to add in the bond universe. But if they'd do another one, they should make one based on Goldfinger.

So, like I said, it would work better if they just picked up an era and actor and wrote a whole new story for a game.

I love Daddy Bond's idea for a The Spy Who Loved Me video game. I think that would be one of the best ones to adapt. Another great game would be On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Even Die Another Day would make for a pretty fun game, it would be awesome to be able to drive the hovercrafts and have the Iceland car chase.

Dr No or Goldfinger.
It's so good to be like Sean Connery (who never dreams of that).
Dr No is very exotic and don't forget Ursula Andress. Goldfinger will be fine too. There are the car, the gadgets, the vilains and the girls too (but they have alredy use a lot of that in from russia with love...)

I would say Thunderball, but legal rights...yadda, yadda, yadda...I think OHMSS would make a great game, with the infiltration of Blofeld's lair, skiing, the car chase, all that jazz. But my gosh, don't use Lazenby!

Here's the Bond flicks that I would love to play in no order

A View to a Kill-Moore and Walken voicing themselves and a chance to b****slap Grace Jones.

The Man With The Golden Gun-Moore and Lee(SCARAMANGA!!!) Voicing themselves and a chance to kick Knick Knack like a football(now for the extra point...).

Goldfinger-This is the one that put Bond on the map. They might as well since they(video game companies) put Goldie and Oddjob(I misspelled that, didn't I?) in all the games as hidden character anyway.

Thunderball-One of Connery's favorites, but the game might play like Neveer Say Never Again(We don't talk about that one around here, do we?)

License to Kill-A second chance to get all that money back from that Batman year. A great action piece would make for alot of levels. I think Del Toro should act like doctor Gonzo in the game...."As your attorney, I advise you to drive at top speed while drinking a martini laced with cocane Mr. Bond".

You know what....F*** IT!!! A REMAKE OF GOLDENEYE ON THE WII
tell me that wouldn't rock.
