I don't disagree that a remake probably wouldn't work. But a chance to see Roger on the screen again would be a treat. After all, I was one of those who liked Boat Trip.

There was news a few years ago that DreamWorks picked it up but I've heard nothing about the project since.Hard to believe this one hasn't been picked up for film yet. Or has it...any news? Great show!

I doubt a Persuaders movie would be much cop. I think it's one of those things which wouldn't work outside the context of its era.

Without wishing to mitigate the power of your words, could not the above be equally applied to Every Single Other movie / TV program / theatrical production that had a nominal history of some form or other?Hmmm? I don't know. I could see it working, although they would have to update the look, the basic plot could be updated. Would make an interesting flic if they had a good script IMO.
