I agree 100% TGO. I don't know why he's still seen as such a hero and great human being when he's not even properly presiding over the people who elected him into office. While I don't think that Kanye announced his criticism's at the right venue, thery were well-merited and correct. And on a sidenote, Kanye West proved his complete and total ignorance the other day by blasting our President (something that Pierce did, too!).
Well, when you take 3 days to properly react to something of the magnitude of Katrina, what does that show?
I'm shocked there are still Americans that talk about him with reverence still.

While he bears the responsibility of the slow response (being President, the buck stops with him), blame can also be laid on to FEMA, as well as local and state authorities for the delay. Oh, don't forget the armed street gangsters, did he hire them to fire on the rescue helicopters and slow down the evacuation?
"George Bush don't care about black people." Oh, yeah, that's a well thought-out and impeccably researched statement. And coming from a rap singer, that's all the political merit you need...

People in New Orleans/Mississippi don't need a throughly researched article, with two pages of sources, to believe that. They've been thinking that for years. Three days is an eternity in a natural disaster. But I wouldn't say black people he doesn't care about...just the poor people.
And if you think the New Orleans mayor failed...hear this.

Please don't let his idiotic race-baiting keep you from donating help/money for the victims.
not that I wouldn't support donating... but isn't it weird that the USA, one of the RICHEST countries in the world... is asking for donations.... makes you wonder sometimes...
anyways, go out and donate.

After a quick search of BMI's website, I've turned up this:

Might have something to do with how much of our budget goes into helping other countries.
I'm just sayin'.
I imagine West got permission from somebody, but it's just fun to watch a new-fangled musician getting slapped around by a Dame.
