I find it better done than Mantronix mix, a few years back.

It's called sampling, get used to it.
I love the track. I think it's fresh, has a great sound and is a surely destined to become a hip-hop favourite. Impressive stuff.

In law school, we called it "copyright infringement" or "larceny" or "plagiarism".
I'm anything but a music snob, but I really crap on sampling from a great height. Come up with something original, for God's sake, instead of completely relying on the creativity of one's forerunners. Listening to the track that plays incessantly on the radio nowadays, the one that "samples" Spandau Ballet's "True", I get angry every time.
Lame.

But I'm not a fan of hip-hop and rap, anyway (if you hadn't already guessed).

I think you'll find that the artists who sample pay a little thing called royalties to the original artist. Oh, and they also have to get the rights and permission to use the sample in the first place. Hardly "copyright infringement" or "larceny" or "plagiarism".
