Tell Flicka to go with the 'crimson satin'. From prior BCWs I'd say that is a surefire way to turn heads. It also adds a certain flair to her climbing exploits.
Sorry I won't be there for the fun this time. Just too much to do getting Freedom Grill going for tailgating season and getting on with life after the changes earlier this year.
I know everyone will have a blast.

Oh, I think I said a year ago that I was writing a Bond book, I've been keeping very mum about it since then, didn't want to jinx it. Once it's really signed and delivered, I'll post all sorts of information about it. I'll be very excited to start promoting The Ultimate James Bond Fan Book it next spring.Great news, Kara, (Contract for Bond book? have I missed something?)
Athena and I are all booked up, paid up, and wound up.

I think I remember you mentioning something like this a long time ago.
But indeed, you've been off radar for quite a while. Only recently noticed you back...
Can't wait to hear more details.

You know...I needed some time off of Bond when the book was finally done. Nine months of writing Bond and watching Bond and thinking Bond and dreaming Bond and writing Bond...But indeed, you've been off radar for quite a while. Only recently noticed you back...
Can't wait to hear more details.
Been watching romances and comedies.
Now I'm back.

BRYCE: Let me know if you find one. NYC is a smoke-free city, including bars. In the event you founf out about one that is flouting the city-wide smoking ban, I'd love to know about it. Thanks.

I will be bringing excerpts.Perhaps we can hear about your book this weekend, Kara?
So far, I have made 25 copies, and every single one of them has screwed up in some way. The duplexer at work is very, very weird.
But at Matt Sherman's suggestion, I will have somewhere between 25-50 copies of teaser excerpts that I will autograph & number. If I become incredibly famous someday, they'll make great collectibles. But you know, I wouldn't hold my breath on the incredibly famous thing if I were you!

Athena is now in "Spaz Kitty" mode.
i.e. - Ever seen a 8-9 week old kitten in the morning (or just in general) dart to no specific spot in a room, freeze, look about in 20 different directions, then suddenly dart to another part of the room and do the same thing - like for a half hour?
That's Athena right now.
Presuming she hasn't packed and re-packed everything twice.
See you and Zencat tomorrow....
...and you know what they say about tomorrow...
