I am a 30yr old Software Developer/Computer Programmer. I work for a holiday company in the South East of England, where I have worked for 10 years. I live in a Converted School (built 1900) and attend clubs in the following sports; Badminton, Aikido, Squash, and Field Hockey.
I drive a volvo (yes I know), but have an open-top mini beach buggy that I use in the summer months. My two best bondian items are my DB5 (danb mint) which is just great and my seamaster (I NEVER tire of looking at it).

Further to the rather woeful whining about the state my employment earlier on in this thread, you will all no doubt be delighted to learn that I'm once again project managing stuff for O2 (UK mobile/cell company), again in a contract capacity.

Yahoo, I can afford my very own ice cream again.

Congrats Simon on rejoining the ranks of the employed again. :)

I don't thnk I could handle working on a purely contract basis, knowing that you may not have another job at the end of the current term must be stressful at times.

Hello again Dr.Tynan. In the first half was a supposed to be arrested for drink and driving. In the second half I was a Copper. They must be hard up for Actors.

Other parts in the Bill I've played was a Copper breaking down a door ( badly ). As I'm 6'4'' I was a Copper quite a lot.

About 6 years ago I got a cheque from the BBC for about

That's very kind of you Dr.Tynan. I also did an episode of 'SPATZ' which I believe was Canadian/British. The star of the show ( a very sexy young lady who's name I cannot recall ) we met at the passport office in London. She was going back to Canada and was pregnant. I was always envyous of the bastard who did it. LOL

first bond cinematic experience: as a little boy in 1971

capital markets trader/dealer since 1989 right after graduating from business school

became a husband in 1995

became a father in '96

started a 14 month affair with a neighbour (who turned out to be a psycho who'd been a stripper in the late '90s) in '01

separated from my darling wife 1 week after DAD opening weekend

currently live in my condo up the hill from my old 'family' home where my ex-wife and child still reside; trying to find comfort in the beds of young women but the guilt of betrayal provides no internal "Quantum of Solace"

Dr Crane: Lawery type person, specıalısing in consitutional, administrative and international law - don't ask it is really really dull and even other lawyers hate it - except for me, but it involves making everyone try to be nice to everyone. China does not like me, which is a shame, but there you go. I cannot play the violin to save my life.

It's a good point but purely for those who aren't jumping in and out of employment all the time. Even when I was permanently employed, I was running into one redundancy after the other, with the basic permie salary and of course no security or redundancy payment on exit as I hadn't been with the company for the statutatory 2 years.

So my world has been one of looking for employment, ever since the beginning, and now I know no different. The upshot is of course one gets the kicker daily rate that comes with contracting and no political involvement with the company one works for.

It's the same as jungles. City folk and tribesman. One man's home is another man's jungle.

And thanks for the congrats.

And when is the Island review coming..............?

Jennifer Calvert? Yes, I recall her as a regular in a Brit soap - now finished - Brookside, it and her, had a very good reputation and have many of her scenes on tape - excellent actress and actually shot a number of eps of the soap in Vancover in the late eighties.

Thank you Daniel for your kind helpful reply.

Hey Daniel, have you heard of John Diedrich? In 1980 He played 'Curly' in 'Oklahoma' at the Palace Theatre in London, and went on to make several movies including 'Dawn' in 1984. He's from Australia.

Cheers,

Ian
