As per the BB guns, they are usually fairly heavy (some brands have real weight models) and the silencers do work to some degree. Plus you can always shoot card targets with them for some fun

It was really reminiscent of the bunker-scene in TWINE, there was me at one end, two other people at the other end of a really long (40ft or so) corridor inside the house. I took cover behind a grandfather clock (this was in pitch black by the way), after running straight into a wall of BB's...
Spotted their location in a wall-mounted mirror, spun around the side of the clock, pulled the trigger and BANG, my gun exploded. Took about 25 minutes to fix it together again, but it wouldn't fire with the clip inside. It wasnt' until a few days ago i searched it out, and fixed it properly. Works' fine now, and is strangely more powerful than before.

That day was quite insane actually, someone got shot in the leg with an air-rifle (not sure how, or even where it came from), and some of the action moved onto the roof of the house, someone had barricaded themselves in an upstairs bathroom, so we climed up and breached through the window.
Neadless to say, there was ALOT of mess at the end of it all.

It feels alright in my hands, but that is not the gunmakers fault...I have small hands.

There tends to be far too many PPK/S's on the market, i've nearly bought one a few times, but i keep holding out for the proper thing, a PPK. Also, i considered buying a blank-firer, but they're a little more expensive.(and am looking for a PPK if anyone can hook me up with one that has silencer capabilities
So, i turned to "Bapty & Co", they provide all the weapons for Eon's armoury department, and also Tomb Raider, and most other British action-movies. Bapty buy in brand-new real weapons, de-activate them, and convert them to fire-blanks. This process gives the most detailed and accurate possible replica, simply because it's not a replica, it's the real gun. No license is required either, just the 17 (UK) legal-age to buy them.
However Bapty's prices are very expensive, i originally wanted the Heckler & Koch USP Match Steel from tomb raider, but that would have cost about

What make/model is the air pistol used by Octopussy's 'girls' to fire the tranq darts?
It looks somewhat similar to the air pistol held by Connery for the FRWL pose (you know, THAT pose).
At least air pistols are legal in the UK so I can own a 'real' one of these

They don't stock themselves, but it's a hub of the UK airsoft community. They can answer your questions much easier; they have extensive lists of retailers etc.
Let me guess, Gas blowback P99?

Tsk. lol
No, I'm looking primarily for the PPK, Browning 1912 and the Beretta the SAS use. (I forget the model) Good, proper weapons.

Browning 1912, can't say i've heard of this gun. You perhaps mean the Colt 1911 or the Browning 1935?
Beretta the SAS use? Standard issue was the Browning 1935 (MK3 model these days...) and the SIG P22X series.
All of these guns are 'good, proper weapons' so I admire your choices

These for 'plinking' or are you thinking of joining a gaming site?

As for the Beretta, I wasn't sure if it was a Beretta when I typed it and I have my doubts now. The gun is made by an Italian company which I CAN'T for the life of my remember the name of. Urgh!
And what is plinking? Sounds obscene.

What it says is it's a "Browning 9mm-long 1903, made under Browning patent by Fabrique Nationale D'Armes de Guerre in Belgium."The Browning 1912 is on the front cover of John Gardner's 'Licence Renewed'. I beleive that is what the model is as I researched it. Also I think it says inside the dust jacket, but I may be wrong.
