Looks like my Wednesday nights are going to be pretty cool. I am sure everyone has caught the commercial which reveals that the Season Four opener of ALIAS will be a "special two-hour event" in two weeks time. What does everyone think of the promo that ABC-TV is running almost constantly on the season opener on Jan. 5?!

For those of you who have not seen the trailer, or live outside the US, check it out at this site:

Its been a long wait...I hear that JJ Abrams (yes, the same producer as LOST) is promising that the series is now back on track (with the departure of Lauren and the arrival of Sydney's sister). The longer than usual wait apparently was Abrams wanting to make sure they got it right for this season.

Should be an outstanding season!! Can't wait to see what happens with Vaughn, hum being on the edge and all. I want to see a lot more of Jack, too. He is my favorite character and adds so much to this solid show.

Definitely! I'm thinking he'll be moving back towards Sydney...but there will be some twist thrown in, naturally.

Well Jack was integral to that twist at the end of Season Three so it will be interesting to see what transpires from that.

Aside from the episode that Ricky Gervais was in I never really got into this programme. I guess if they're repeated on Sky then I might make an effort to watch them all.

I quite agree! While not as eye-popping as the one that came at the end of the second season IMO, I think this one will turn out to be just as much of a shocker eventually.

It will certainly have very wide reaching ramifications into the fourth season.

On a sidenote....I am sure that Electra is going to get some major plugs during the commercial breaks.

But hey, who needs Jennifer Garner on the big screen when you have her as a kick-:) heroine on the small screen for two hours on Jan. 5 :)

I'm just sick of the constant Bond ripoffs I see scattered throughout the shows. It wouldn't be so bad if it wern't for the fact they try to pass it off on their own.

I have a small question about Alias. Has Sydney been to Stockholm or any other place in Sweden yet?

I'm looking forward to this season, especially when I found out that Anna Espinosa is returning from Season 1, since I never knew what happened to her. I'm still preying that Irina Derevko will return.

I remember thinking last summer that it was going to bite to have to wait until January, 6 months, to see Alias return. Then I was sitting there watching something and that promo came on and it got me ready for this to return.

I think season 3 got a little too bogged down in so many storylines going in so many different directions -- family members, evil spouses, Rimbaldi (spelling), Sydney dealing with where she was for 2 years, etc. At least we know we'll be able to enjoy a pretty consistent run without going a month without any new episodes the way it had been going.

Ah yes, is it assured that there won't be any "hiccups"/delays in this season?

Well and we have to wait untill season 3 arrives on dvd in March 2005, because not too many tv-stations are willing to show this show.

A nice show for the first 2 seasons.

Ah, gotcha. This show has some very contrasting times when it's seasons are on throughout the world I've noticed.
