Say one day Bond was hungry and the nearest fancy restaraunt was 2 hours away. He stops at some.......... Mc Donalds and walks in, orders his , food, say a milkshake and a Big Mac. Would He complain or eat until he became enormous? What are your thoughts?

It's only been a hour. Patience.

I think even at McDonalds, Bond would scan the menu carefully and pick the best (or perhaps more to the point, "least worst") thing from it. He'd only eat enough to last him that 2 hour trip to the "nearest fancy restaurant".

I think he'd order the fillet o' fish burger, because Bond having to eat in a McDonald's would feel like a lost 'sole'!. :)

He might go for a McSalad but feel really bad about it afterwards. Somehow I can't picture 007 scarfing down a Big Mac thinking "Alright, ten minutes left on my break. Jeez the rest of this day is gonna suck!"

Pretty sure he'd just starve himself.

Don't see him going for the Big Mac or Chicken McNuggets, downing them with a nice large Coke, and finishing off with a McFlurry. Probably one of the chicken salads.

He would probably go for the breakfast items only.

Yeah, in spite of the fact they're basically $2.99 heart attacks those McGriddles are pretty tasty.

Funny you should say that, as Sean Connery passed through our town about a year ago and dined at a McDonald's, ordering just that and a tea. A buddy of mine served him.

I kid you not. He has his autograph to prove it.

Did Gardner ever send Bond to a fast food resturant? Seems to me the kind of thing that would show up in a Gardner book. Gardner sent him to Disneyland afterall. :)

Wasn't that the comparison that Benson made between Gardner and Fleming? Reading Gardner is like eating at McDonald's, etc.

Does Fleming not like McDonalds? And yes, I think you're right that is the comparison he made. They said so on a biography on Fleming on HBO.

What the HELL am I doing here?!?! :)

James Bond will return in: "Would You Like Death With That?"

Seriously, I hope we never discover the answer to this question. If I ever see Bond in a fast food joint, I will feel entitled to take it as a sign that the series has officially "jumped the shark."
