Why isn't anyone answering me?!
It's only been a hour. Patience.
Say one day Bond was hungry and the nearest fancy restaraunt was 2 hours away. He stops at some.......... Mc Donalds and walks in, orders his , food, say a milkshake and a Big Mac. Would He complain or eat until he became enormous?
I think even at McDonalds, Bond would scan the menu carefully and pick the best (or perhaps more to the point, "least worst") thing from it. He'd only eat enough to last him that 2 hour trip to the "nearest fancy restaurant".

Don't see him going for the Big Mac or Chicken McNuggets, downing them with a nice large Coke, and finishing off with a McFlurry. Probably one of the chicken salads.

Wasn't that the comparison that Benson made between Gardner and Fleming? Reading Gardner is like eating at McDonald's, etc.Did Gardner ever send Bond to a fast food resturant? Seems to me the kind of thing that would show up in a Gardner book. Gardner sent him to Disneyland afterall.

That must have made his day!.Funny you should say that, as Sean Connery passed through our town about a year ago and dined at a McDonald's, ordering just that and a tea. A buddy of mine served him.

Hey, that's great. Did sean pay for it, or did he ask for a tab?.I kid you not. He has his autograph to prove it.

Seriously, I hope we never discover the answer to this question. If I ever see Bond in a fast food joint, I will feel entitled to take it as a sign that the series has officially "jumped the shark."

James Bond will return in: "Would You Like Death With That?"

One hopes we never see it happen in the films.
