Righty007 is working with Bondian.com for these month to month overview. You'll have to ask him (oh Righty... where art thou?). I know it was meant as an insult, but it's almost a backhanded compliment. I love Roger Moore's raising of the right eyebrow. :)

Not to be picky, but there seems to be a mistake regarding the special The Incredible World of James Bond. This aired in November 1965 (not sure of the exact date) as opposed to Dec. 13, 1964. It was intended to tie in with Thunderball and was on the Thunderball laser disc about 10 years ago.

Was it really necessary to include the Vincent Canby comment against Roger Moore?

Not including that would be like not including the Holocaust in a World War II museum. History isn't always positive.

There's a bad comparison. The Holocaust was a big part of WW2. Camby's smarmy comment was just some schmuck's opinion of Roger Moore's portrayal of 007-just a drop in the ocean in Bond's literary & cinematic history.
