One of the things listed in the events section, I'm totally interested in.
Does anyone know more about this?
October 5 1983: Asteroid 9007 James Bond was discovered by Antonin Mrkos at the Klet Observatory in the Czech Republic. It is named in honour of Ian Fleming.

Oh well, I've got plenty of great memories of getting Bond stuff for my birthday to make up for that.

By the way, I really enjoy these features where we see what happened in Bond history.

According to this the asteroid will be closest to Earth on April 23 next year. It'll get as close as 1.84 AU (1 AU = approx 93 million miles - the distance between the Earth and Sun). One of the things listed in the events section, I'm totally interested in.

And the relevance to this thread is?
Read the article and look for Xanadu productions.
It's just a little anecdote, sorry for my irrelivant British humour.

Dr No came out Oct 62, FRWL came out Oct 63.
So announcing that Connery was Bond in November 1963 is a little redundant.
