"The reward for finding Qwerty is 15,000 points."

I imagine we don't lose points if we abandon him.

We get 15,000 for finding Qwerty so I would say that it's worth getting him back. I think we should try to get it down to a country next. I suppose we could ask if the country is a big one or not?

But that's kind of an opinion oriented question, to some, other countries are, big, and to others, some countries are small.

Something like "Has James Bond been in this country" I think would be a slightly better question.

That doesn't really make it any less ambiguous, Johnboy. Bond's been to a lot of countries.

Maybe we should just let Qwerty stay captured. Do we get points for finding him?

Not really the spirit now is it Athena.

True, but it would eliminate or bring forth some of the more obscure countries.

I suppose. You're right about the obscure countries bit. Yeah it makes sense seeing as we'll all know where we're talking about then.

:) "Has James Bond been in this country" ...it's too broad of a question (think, book & films & short stories -- 007 has basically been everywhere).

In that case what about narrowing down to just the films?

I think that's a good idea, if we know he's somewhere Bond's been in the films that narrows it down to countries not continents, a big step.

And at that we can find whether we'rer talking about France or Lithuania. :)

Ok... so... what's the question we want to ask... someone phrase it and we'll look it over one last time and then ask it. ???

"Has James Bond visited the country in which you are located in in any James Bond film?"

3 of us have agreed more or less so I think that should be our 2nd official question.

Agreed. I did rephrased the question to be a tad clearer

Holy MOLEy! This might take more than one more free question. We may have to spend a few points on an extra question or two.

I dont think we should ask more than our 3 free questions. Finding the EXACT location might be very difficult.

I say that asking that Bond location question was stupid and rife with sabotage.

We're stuffed because of it.

I thought it was going to be a bad question too but now... I think it was a good idea... it did seem to have really narrowed the field.

Russia is part of Asia (I think we can eliminate that one from the list)

Using one or two extra questions doesn't seem like too much of a loss if we can find him.

Asking a demographic question like, is the population size or something might have helped.

As for asking him this... we can't... has to be a yes or no question. :) ...but yes, how did Qwerty get captured... perhaps he was "negotiating" with the mole and the mole snagged him!

Russia is part of Asia (I think we can eliminate that one from the list)

But it's also part of Europe. That sounds awfully mole-ish to me. :)

We now have 10 more questions left in this challenge. I say we should use as many as we need to find Qwerty because if we find him that's 15,000 points to the bank. Even if we get him on the last question we'll be 6,000 points up from the original amount.

In my opinion we should find out which continent he's in first and then narrow it down to cities. Perhaps something along the lines of "Is he in North or South America?". That way we could split the list of countries nearly in half.

Whatever we do remember this is the last free question. We better start making them really count.

I've always wondered if Russia is part of Asia. I think it just happens to be on the edge of it. However. I agree with bond111 and think we should ask if he is in North or South America as it would narrow the possibilities.

Thta's not right, we are using the money we have already earned, not the money we get for winning. Each no answer brings down the reward.
