EA gets it!

Well, I don't doubt that. Nightfire was a very good Bond game, and I guess TWINE was, too, even though I haven't played it.I've said it before and I'll say it again...
EA gets it!
But does this mean that EA gets it when it comes to Rogue Agent as well?

I used to like Everything Or Nothing, but when I really think about it today, it was garbage. It's hard for me to call it a Bond game. I don't think I will like Rogue Agent, either, and I think that Doom 3 and Far Cry will always reign supreme.Yes, I meant in regards to how they treat their fan base, but also in the type of Bond product they produce. I think Everything or Nothing is a good a Bond "movie" as Eon has made in 10 years. And hiring the likes of Bruce Feirstein as writer on EoN, and Ken Adam as production designer Rogue Agent...how these guys talk about Bond and the excitement they show...they just seem to "get it."
Long live Far Cry. Long live Doom 3.

EA does get it, that's why IMO, they're still going with Bond. They embrace the fans, and just seem very 'open'.

Even so, do it for yourself. Never know how something can be unless you give it a try.

Hehehehe...That thing that I think about this game that would be really exciting for Bond fans is the Bond villains! I mean, I was a little... "eh uh blah" about this game when I first heared there would be no Bond in it. But then I got all excited to see the villains in action.
I'd rather play a Bond villian in a movie or a game rather than Bond.

I was the same way at first, how can it be a Bond game without Bond? But the more I see of the game the more I realize to combat this EA is loading up on the Bondian elements, i.e.; villains from the past, classic locations from the films, Ken Adam sets, etc., etc. In a way, I think this game without Bond will actually end up being more "Bondian" than say Licence To Kill. That thing that I think about this game that would be really exciting for Bond fans is the Bond villains! uh...... only in regards to Bond stuff do they come anywhere near to "getting it"I've said it before and I'll say it again...
EA gets it!
........otherwise, EA pays very little attention to communities........ unlike many other companies.
EA doesn't give their dve companies nearly as many community opportunities to intereact with the actual devs for example. (not counting Bond stuff)
Take a look at id, Epic, Blizzard (sort of), Raven and even Ion Storm.......

I find they have a negative attitude when it comes to FAQ.EA does get it, that's why IMO, they're still going with Bond. They embrace the fans, and just seem very 'open'.
If EA games really "got it", then they would've taken the best elements of all their previous games instead of trying new things, like playing in third person and playing from the perspective of the bad guy.

I am not referring to how they make the Bond games, but how they embrace the community.I find they have a negative attitude when it comes to FAQ.EA does get it, that's why IMO, they're still going with Bond. They embrace the fans, and just seem very 'open'.

It's hosted by Patrick Gilmore and includes some interesting clips from the game, including...Bond! We also get to see, for the first time, Scaramanga and Pussy Galore.

Make sure to check it out, there's a Quicktime MOV from EA "GoldenEye Rogue Agent Undercover pt1" (I had the mov in my hands already, but thanX to Tanger for pointing it out as well )

Now this is looking cool. That shot where Blofeld's volcano lair lights up... gorgeous! Took them a while, but EA has this Bond thing down-pat, now!
I love how involved EA is being with the fans, in an effort to make their best game yet. It's all so hands-on! MGM could learn a thing or two.
I'm mighty jealous, Athena!

The graphics look good, the levels sound interesting, the characters seem to be very well thought out, and it's not your typical James Bond game.
And yes, that looks like that one bit could be Switzerland.
Truly looking forward to this.

Absolutely. This is going to be a hit, and one that blows alot out of the water.
With the "GoldenEye" title and the usual EA publicity onslaught, this is going to be huge.

The hairstyle seems different, as does the face slightly. Still a very striking pic.
