Like did you know that Homer has seen Octopussy twice?

...Like did you know that Homer has seen Octopussy twice?

Homer: "You know what's great about you English?....Octopussy. I must have seen that movie...Twice."

I still enjoy the Simpsons and have almost every episode on tape or DVD. There's talk that there may be a sequel episode to "You Only Move Twice" among the die hard Simpson fans I know.

I always loved the headline on the newspapers at the end with picture of Scorpio "Super Villain Seizes East Coast".

Great stuff.

Wow that is detailed! By the way does anyone know which state Springfield is in? That's a teaser that's been going on for sometime.

I don't think it's Illinois because in one episode Springfield got hit by a hurricane. Also, they have a shopping center on the ocean as well. The mystery continues...

There's one in Missouri too, but that one doesn't fit either.

It's in Kentucky, as mentioned in an almost-throwaway line in Behind The Laughter.

I found this a bit interesting on the location for the Simpsons: Where is it?

I LOVE the Simpsons. I think Homer Simpson is the funniest character in history.

As for where Springfield is located, don't even bother guessing :)

Thanks Qwerty. That's a pretty exhaustive write up. I wonder how long it took to put it together.

Buck

The Simpsons Archive is almost certainly the most comprehensive Simpsons site on the web. It's been on-line since 1994, so the content that has appeared on the site has been added and amended with each episode. There's an absolute mass of stuff here; indispensible for the Simpsons fan.

Actually, last week's All New Simpsons [called Catch 'Em If You Can] had a couple of Bond references...

At one point, Marge talks about Daytona's zipper museum, and that they "have a zipper from every James Bond". Later, Homer says, "Kids don't beat me! I beat kids!", to which Marge replies, "And nobody does it better!"
