Don't know about 22 & 23, but 20 must be "SHATTERHAND" and 21 should be "The Property of a Lady". Or they should at least use that one eventually.

If theres people that think its too early to think beyond 20, why are you in this discussion, lol.

N e whoo:

21: From Carlisle With Love
22: Yesturday Has Died
23: Goldbigtoe

-As for the Union trilogy, I think it will ruin th effect that SPECTRE had on the films... plus SPECTRE wasnt a trilogy, only Blofeld was apparent in three films (in face n e way). And as SPECTRE was the original foe, it would seem like Bond was trying to overwrite the past, IMO. And I think the way is a new threat each time, with a continual enemy, there is only so much you can do, and over the years, its shown that most have been done, and I think it could be hammering the nail into the coffin if the Union appeared in the films (more than one n e way).

I think one of the titles should be a name: such as the name of an operation (e.g. Thunderball), or the name of a villian (e.g. Dr. No).

I'm tired of the 'screwed up quotes' titles like You Only Live Twice or Die Another Day et cetera. Not that those particular ones are bad--none, in fact, are bad--but this theme could easily be carried away and Bond films would end up with ho-hum titles.

well I am writing a copyrighted script right now titled "Silence is Golden" Almost finished, I will e-mail it to anyone that would want to read it. I personally like the name, I really like the name queen and country, and unless this is copyrighted I would like to write a script with that name as well. Please let me know. Thank you very much. Regards. Commander Dan

I wouldn't consider the Blofield movies a trilogy...different evil plot, different girls, locations, etc...

I've always liked the title "Something Evil Comes This Way" from You Only Live Twice (the novel) but that'll never be a title b/c it's not sleek enough for nowadays..."The Finger on the Trigger" from Dr. No's not bad either

Blofeld's Cat (21 Jan, 2002 03:34 a.m.):
I see your point, but, like many people, I don't think of it as a trilogy as such, due to a different Bond (twice) and Blofeld (thrice) been portrayed in the trio of movies.

And their not very continual, in OHMSS, neither Bond or Blofeld recognize each other, what happened to Irma Bunt, and there's no mention of Tracy in OHMSS.

Hmmm, Bond 21, 22, 23...
21-Icebreaker
22-Brokenclaw
23-Win, Loose, or Die
:) And no one can complain about a trilogy, returning storylines, etc. (otherwise I'd have put down the books in Gardner's own little SPECTRE trilogy :) )

Did you like the Blofeld Trilogy (You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Diamonds Are Forever) because that's the sort of trilogy everyone is talking about.

RE: the meaning of the word "Moonraker"

Another meaning of "moonraker" is a dreamer or a fool. It actually goes back to a folk story of England about a man who saw the reflection of the moon in a puddle of water and tried to rake it up (I guess to sell it or something).

This would cast more sense to the lyrics of the song MR. Drax is the moonraker dreaming of his riches and his revenge, but he ends up the fool because Bond defeats his plan. Plus , as far as naming the rockets MR, it just sounds cool and space-y.

I would also like to suggest "The Quantom of Solace" for another title, since it's a Fleming original.

I still think Cold Eternity has a nice ring to it. I've also been fond of Black Winter (a possible nuclear fallout which is nicknamed Black Winter)

I think before you would pick a name for the next three films you would have to know the plot of them. All the Bond film's have always had a title that very creatively tied in with the film. I must hand it to you guys though, there are so very good titles for the next films.

Bond 21; Quantum Of Solace (Classic Fleming short story)
Bond 22; The Property of a Lady (Good name; plot's already been used in Octupussy)
Bond 23; Colonel Sun (Brillian novel by Amis, plenty of material for a Bond film)

Bond 21:- Shadowhand
Bond 22:- Today without Yesterday
Bond 23:- Way to Go

"Everything or Nothing" seems quite good too.

What about:-

Never Remain Silent
Double Six
Silver Shadow
Literally Dead
Confirmed Dead
Confirmed Alive
Access Denied

I say brosnan get either
-Quantum Of Solace
-Property of a Lady
-Risco
-007 in New York (j/k)

but give him at least 1 fleeming title, then give on eot the next bond, we've already had to start creating new titles!

of corse Gardner's books like win lose or die and nobody lives forever (which the bloddy video game COPIED!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!) are good too.

benson had some good titles as well, expecially high time to kill

How about the film where Bond loses his license to drive after all of the car chases he's been in all over the world that threatened more of the population than any of the villian's schemes ever did. That's right, we're going to call it License Revoked AND really associate it with losing a driver's license. Let's see Bond use his wits and get around on foot!

Remember back before the Title fo Bond 20 was announced it was called "Behond the Ice", well whats wrong with that title.

So Bond 21 should be called "Behond the Ice", a
And Bond 22 could simply be called, "Bond, James Bond"

well can't think of anything else.

One of the future Bond films preferably the one that comes out in 2007 should be called:

HAVEN'T WE BEEN HERE BEFORE?

Because let's face it in the 45 years(1962-2007) we have.
