Thank you! I'm just glad the Brosnan flicks are out of the way.
And I'm enjoying your blu-ray covers, Dalton!

Nice work WIE - looks good!
And nice work also tdalton - love the 'CR' style. In fact, can I steal that for my Av here please?
Absolutely. Feel free.
Also, nice work on the covers, Egypt. I wish we could get some bluray covers like that, incorporating some of the hand drawn stuff, for real.

Fantastic work, JCR!
I do so wish these were real/official.
Also, Egypt and Daboy.
All of this fan stuff is great, really. Some very, very creative people 'round these parts.

Made a couple more in my Hamm-series. Imagining the Gardner ones taking place in the 60s (even though some of the weapons, fashion and vehicles may be anachronistic).

Jon Hamm as James Bond set in the 50’s/60’sFirst of all, I don’t want Jon Hamm to ever play James Bond in the official film series. But during the last year I’ve read all of Ian Fleming’s novels, as well as all the continuation novels and the idea of doing some kind of Bond series (TV or film) set in the 50’s and 60’s has become more and more appealing to me. And of all the actors working today I think Hamm would be the best as a 1950’s Bond (even though he’s American – he can fake the English accent). So I did some poster-ish stuff in Photoshop and thought I’d post them here (I am a regular visitor though I’ve never really posted anything here before). I’ve tried to aim for a retro feel in the posters and I’m not sure if I’m imagining films or some kind of HBO produced TV-series. Perhaps the latter and each book/poster could work as some sort of DVD-case for each season?I started out with Colonel Sun, IMO the best of the non-Fleming novels. For some reason I put the location and year on the first three posters. On second thought I probably shouldn’t have. I also didn’t bother with making poster-like credits, but just typed in the starring actors. What do you think about the actors I’ve chosen? My personal favorites of the ones I’ve made are Colonel Sun, Dawn of War (based on Pearson’s 007 biography) and Moonraker (which is the one Fleming novel that really deserves a period set remake).I’m no Photoshop wizard, so the point is just to imagine what a series as this could be like.
Nice work. Also, Karloff, there is a thread which discusses having a Bond TV series set in the period the novels were written, and proposing the book story-lines are followed exactly and in order. I agree the literary Bond material could make for a great high-quality period piece. I think you would enjoy the discussion. You may also want to post your artwork there as well.

In the spirit of alternative imaginings of the EON Bond films, I came across these on Facebook and thought I would share them here.
Some people wish for a Connery OHMSS. Others would happily keep Lazenby right where he is but in turn give him DAF. And yet others can only wonder what a Dalton Goldeneye would have been like:
These there are all quite good and a bit of fun, I thought. Unfortunately the FB page that posted them didn't provide attribution. Also, my apologies if they have been posted previously.

But Dalton in 'GoldenEye' looks superb. Man, that makes me dream for the Bond film we never got.

Here's my Quantum Of Solace quad poster, folks!
One of my better ones I think, although the stills are lacking a little in the variety of colours. Quite a dusty looking film!
The created the star billing above the title by using the names from the opening credit sequence.

No it's noticeable, looks a little richer, the sky and building for one. Nice.
