Hello boys and girls.

You may remember my James Bind movie poster designs which I uploaded here until recently. For some reason, the site won't let me add any new ones because I've used up my alloted space or something.

Well, you can now see all my Bond posters, including some new ones, some redesigned ones, and all my other movie poster designs on my Flickr page. Here it is!

http://www.flickr.co...57623713000941/

You'll notice that I am yet to complete any designs for the Timothy Dalton's Bond films. I'm having a little trouble with those ...

I could look at your artwork all day, absolutely excellent!

There's a lot of posters in there, that I would genuinely purchase, and put on my wall.

Why aren't people like you designing the Blu Rays? I just cannot fathom how so many of the official covers get

the go ahead.

It's almost as if they don't care.

With Skyfall coming on DVD within the week I thought I'd share the updates of my Bond covers. I've only just really noticed how different and widely ranging in style these covers were, so I thought I'd go with different styles for each set.

Click each to download the full cover.

Never Say Never Again started as a Never Say McClory Again Cover- and is available with a different feature list for that movie.

Original Editions of Skyfall and Quantum of Solace are still available in the same folder as some people quite liked them.

I have only just seen how different the US and Australian Editions are from the UK, so in the unlikely event anyone would like me to adjust the spines and classifcation logos to fit in better with their collection, do say.

Hello, chaps.  I designed a British 'quad' style movie poster for Diamonds Are Forever, and gave it an authentic vintage finish.

Hope you like it.

This poster is AMAZING, DABOY. If you don't mind me asking, what program do you use to create posters like that? I'd love to give a shot at making one.

FutureJamesBond, I use Photoshop.

I made a cover for William Boyd's Bond novel "Solo" with the influence of Richard Chopping, who did the classic Fleming novel covers.

I totally forgot about this Casino Royale poster I put together a few years ago.  I was going for that early 70s, Dirty Harry vibe.

A certain 'Dirty Harry' / 70s cop movie there WIE. Good work! Atmospheric, and a brilliant teaser poster (if movie studios were braver to be more simple nowadays).

Why thank you!

And here's another one I forgot about.  I've not posted these anywhere before.  As you can see, this one is a direct adaptation of the brilliant 1960s Pan paperback cover.

Thank you very much.

I always thought it was about time that the marketing chaps dropped the prominent '007' from their posters, and replaced it with the word 'Bond'.  It looks awesome, if you ask me.

I made a series of Bond blu-ray covers

Here is just a sampling:

And I produced a series of Manila folder editions:

Here's that version in regards "Diamonds Are Forever":

Great covers man! I love the incorporation of the movie posters. I really like the Never Say Never Again one. They all look good, but that one especially is a huge improvement over the NSNA blu ray release cover.

Terrific blu-ray covers.

However, I do have one criticism, and it's something that has bugged me with Bond cover art for ages.  I wish the logos were on the spine were the original colours instead of the 'shiny gold' which I can't stand.

Apart from that, great!

A little while ago I started a series of 50th Anniversary blu-ray covers using just a still of Bond from each movie, but I went off that idea and gave up.

Instead, I'm using the same layout but I've isolated Bond from the relevant movie poster to make a clean cover design.  This might not work for every Bond movie, and Goldfinger proved pretty difficult because none of the posters show Bond by himself, but I shall persevere!

Here are the first three.  What do you think?

Thanks here is the set on a shelf:

And laid out

The first four:

The thing that has always bugged me is the reluctance to use the original posters. I decided that the only way to remedy that was to make my own custom covers.

For completists I also did one for 1967s "Casino Royale":

05bcasinoroyale1967cust.jpg

And "Skyfall"

For my Manila folder series I tried to mimic the posters as much as possible, while fitting them to a Blu-ray cover size. This of course meant some inventive alterations. In "Octopussy" I married together elements from three separate posters for an effect that I hope looks like an official poster. For "Never Say Never Again" it was a challenge to convert the UK Quad poster into a Blu-ray cover shape since the Quad is/was a horizontal rectangle

If you have a moment just out of curiosity could you post bigger pix of the TLD, LTK, GE, and SF covers you made?

DLibrasnow, did you print out your covers on the same paper stock used by the studios?  If so, can you tell me what it is?

The closest stock to the studios that I have been able to find is brochure paper.

Thanks for that.  I'd love to print out my own designs, but the problem with that is I simply can't be bothered to do back covers.

In the meantime, here are the next three covers in my little 50th Anniversary set.
