I was born in 1978 and have been a Bond fan since summer ´87 when I saw Happy Anniversary 007-special on finnish telly. My late father suggested me to watch it, and it did the trick - I was amazed by those clips and wanted more. My father told that he had seen most of the 60´s and 70´s Bonds at the cinema and recommended Goldfinger which we then rented on VHS...

I have been a huge fan of James Bond since an early age. I was particularly fond of the John Gardner books.
I always wanted to be James Bond when I was younger so I joined the army, however my career went another way entirely and I now work in protective security/intelligence...

Pointed here by news.com.au when they posted the 007 25 Movie Marathon. This should be a right of passage for every Man and part of all educational curriculums hehe.
I recently did a similar thing..Got the box set of James Bond (minus the original Casino Royale) and watched them over the next two months. Something I've wanted to do for a long time; an awesome chronological journey of 007 goodness.
Grew up watching James Bond Classics on TV during Christmas (Free to air put them on every year)... I grew up in the Pierce Brosnan era but strangely, he's not my favourite!
I'd have to say, of the classics, Lazenby and Dalton are my favorites (Lazenby is by far the best physical fighter of the the classics IMO).
Craig is what i'd like to think, the culmination of those two and to me is the Ultimate Bond...dangerous words I know
Bond Girls....well for me..Honey Rider, Solitare, Vesper Lynd and Teresa Bond.
Glad to be here!

Here I get one of the house avatars to work. Oh well have a good day. Well one avatar is better than none.
I guess if I make it to cadet I'll get the one in the upper righthand corner.

It might seem quiet for now, since we're all awaiting Bond 23, but I guess the fire will resume soon.
Glad to see you join.

A bit late getting to this, but I'm Jason, 36, Bond fan since I was a young boy. Have a 10 month old daughter named Harper. Working towards a MFA degree. Write fiction and poetry, read everything and everywhere, and a big music fan. I'm glad I've joined this great site.
Welcome aboard.

I've a member for a little while, and a reader long before that. I thought I would finally get around to introduce myself. My name is Gardner. I've been a Bond fan since I was little. I saw Goldeneye twice in theaters when I was seven, and I have been addicted ever since (and when I say addicted I don't mean it in a bad way). I really enjoy the discussions and news offered here, along with the company.
In life, I am currently working on my Masters in Health Administration at the University of Florida. I love music, traveling, the outdoors, running, history, and the violin (among other instruments).
Looking forward to learning more and getting to know more of you fellas/ladies.

Nice to have you here Gardner. It's a great place to spend some time, and the best way to talk about something you like with people (more or less) similar to you. It's nice being able to engage with other fans rather than feeling like you're droning on to some disinterested third party. Anyway, welcome aboard and we all hope you enjoy your stay at CBn.
Absolutely! Thank you for the kind greeting! I completely understand you regarding the droning on to a disinterested third party... cough... my girlfriend... cough. She does try! I am still educating her on the world of Bond, and why the character is worthy of such great respect and admiration. She is learning and picking up fast. Ha! She still rolls her eyes and gives me a look every time Bond is in bed/kisses a girl. I doubt that will ever cease.
