I'm curious how the server blowup affected other communities. I'd assume the vast majority (myself included) would move over here due to the similar community size and coverage.

I enjoy films, (anything with Charlotte Rampling, Terry Thomas Gene Hackman, and Dracula films as well as horror films in general), tv , computer games, reading (currently the Nick Carter series) and i'm also a car buff.

I thought I'd better finally introduce myself. I'm GT, 18 years old from Athens, Greece. I've been a member of MI6 for almost two years. I registered to CBn during MI6's first break down and I liked the place so decided to visit more often. Of course I'm a huge Bond fan. Apart from Bond, I like action films and thrillers and I love House MD.

After some long time lurking, I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself somewhat properly. My Bond fandom has lasted some twenty-odd years. The fascination caught on around the time of the release of The Living Daylights, and though not always unwavering or unchanging it very much remains to this day. As a kid, watching a Bond film made me feel rather manly while these days there is hardly a better way to make me feel like a happy boy, which in its own modest way is a treat as good as any.

Today, apart from the films I take much interest in the history of the franchise with its ever-evolving cast, Fleming’s writings and, at the moment perhaps most of all, John Barry and his outstanding contributions. I am also looking forward to Quantum of Solace of course, though with a tasteful touch of trepidation. I have chosen to remain largely in the dark when it has come to rumours and leaks during the production of the film, so come what may; hopefully it will catch me off-guard.

Anyhow, I find both the main site and the discussions and contributions of the posters of this board enjoyable to follow. Hopefully I will manage to sneak in a post or two as well. Until then,

I've been a Bond fan since I was a kid although I was born during Dalton's era, I grew up watching the Roger Moore era, I like all Bonds but my favorite is Sean Connery.
