I recently had the pleasure of making acquaintance with the talented Richard Kiel (aka: JAWS) and his wife, Diane. Mr. Kiel graciously agreed to sit down with CBn and tell us about all about his life and his deadly encounters with Bond, James Bond.

Seems to be a huge and all around great Bond fan and person himself, would be great to meet him.
Always wondered what that other ending for TSWLM would look like.
Great job, Athena!

The article itself is extraordinary because it touches on the facets of Kiel's career, not just the Bond era. That's a great touch Athena. Very well done!
And kudos too, to Mister Asterix for another outstanding job with the graphics.

Who's next for the CBn interview? Pierce Brosnan? Although I suspect the questions you'd ask him would be inappropriate for public viewing, Athena.

Perhaps... but I'm sure he knows that people have differing opinions of his character. IAthena, has Mr Kiel read through the CBN threads, if so does he have any objections to any of the stuff written here?

I live in the city Toluca Lake (which is what I had in my profile before). Which is in Los Angeles County. Having an LA City and LA County used to confuse me. (technially I live in: Toluca Lake, Los Angeles, CA). So actually I haven't moved... yet.I see you moved to LA, Athena. Like it?

Always interesting to see someone from the Bond universe discussing their thoughts.
So, the inevitable question: who's next?

I have mixed feelings regarding the character of Jaws. He was excellent in The Spy Who Loved Me, but in Moonraker he was basically reduced to a comic lovesick teddy bear. The Jaws/Dolly romance is a serious contender for the most cringeworthy moment in the entire series for me, so I was particularly interested to read his comments about the Jaws/Dolly romance and how that came about.
Richard Kiel has always comes across as a very likable man when I have seen him interviewed on tv, or when I have read an interview such as the one for CBn. I wish him well.

LOL!!! That's great!!!And now I've got his personalized autograph hanging on the toilet and everybody gets to see it if they want or not.
Kinda scary though... I mean a guy whipping it out with Jaws staring at them...
