I have been doing martial arts for years, that's more exercise than some people get in a lifetime.

But then again, I have only around 200 DVDs, so i'm not a nutter collector type :)

I have been collecting DVDs since March 1997...they just add up after a time.

That's putting it mildly. :) Quite the collection, Darren. You have impeccable taste. I presume Beverly Hills Cop III was purchased at the same time as the other two in a box set. Not having a go or anything, I just don't know anyone who would willingly purchase the third film. :)

Seeing that list makes me want to get a job reviewing movies. :)

One that I really want is "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" which is one of my favorites.

Yes, I'd love to own that film.

I actually saw an old VHS of that for sale at a movie rental store recently. I don't think it's on DVD, but really don't know.

"Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" is on DVD. Unfortunately none of the stores in my area have a copy! I'll have to get it off Amazon.com one of these days.

Yes, the third Beverly Hills Cop movie came as part of the box set - and it still has not been watched.

A number of those DVDs did come from the studios for review, I would say probably 50 of them were freebies. I'm eagerly awaiting a slate of five WW2 movies that Fox will be sending out for review this week.

Really? That's cool, will have to check the DVD section next time.

I was once recommended that movie and I found it to be really good.

It's quite good DLibrasnow, the tale of two sisters and jealousy, to say the very least about it, I haven't seen it in years, and it is very old, seeing that you love movies too, I would definitely check it out, you might like it!

I don't know why, but it just reminds me of some older Hitchcock films sometimes, I really need to rewatch it, just so that I can remember the entire film, as only certain scenes are popping in my head at the moment.

If not though, whatever you prefer. :)

Actually I went to the Hirshon Gallery in DC today and walking through it I had a real desire to rewatch THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR with Rene Russo.

That is one film I have been trying very hard to find on DVD for under $10, as I do want to have it, but I know it is not that expensive anymore. Brosnan did have good chemistry with Russo.

Russo gives a great performance in that movie, and it's nicely directed by John McTiernan. The two of them deserve a lot of kudos for THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR.

Another film I'd like to see make it's way to DVD is Roger Moore's film "Crossplot." It's been OOP on video for sometime now

Nope, I'm not overpaying for that one, I've seen it really cheap and I'm not just going to pay some of the crazed prices certain stores like that cost.

Really McCartney?

If I had to judge it to the Media Play, Borders, Blockbuster, Circuit City and Barnes & Noble around here, it sometimes ranks as one of the pricer ones.

Maybe it was just specific films, I'll give them another chance.

I think you should. It's a good bet you'll find it around $10.00.

Anyway, how cool is Crossplot's movie poster?

Hey, fantastic poster that is McCartney, I notice it has the older 'GP' rating, do you happen to know when that film was made? I'm just curious.

I haven't seen it for a LONG time, but it is great, Dlibras. I'm sure most people here would like it. I wonder how long we're going to have to wait for it to come to DVD?
