You guys should come to Colorado!! One day it can be nice and sunny in the sixties, that night it can drop down to single digits and be no higher than the teens the next day. I'm glad you managed okay in the flood Athena. :) We sure could use some of that water out here in the mid-west. After that summer two years ago when we had that horrible Hayman fire (which was about 40 miles away from my house) we still haven't completely gotten out of the drought.

Athena that is absolutely fantastic. One thing that I've wanted from CBn, to hear the voices of the members. Absolutely brilliant (and sad of me too to get so excited by summat like that. :) Och but who cares? )

You sound very nice, if you don't mind me saying. CBn don't ever delete this.

Now I want to hear your voice Xenobia.

Xenobia, no offense but,

Is Charlie you're "Brother" or your "Brotha"

Do you drink "Coffe" (american sound) or "Cowafee"

Are you from "New York" or "Noo Yawk"

No harm intended. :)

Not that I know of... That DownLoad is actually something that I have associated with another site. I just took the URL and put it here. If anyone has a recorder (WAV or MP3) on their computer they can record themselves and help put it up on somone's server and link to it here. :)

I'm thinking that when my birthday hits (March 1st - YAY) I'll consider doing a Thank You CBners for the Birthday wishes voice download. But we'll see :) ...OR if I get to meet Pierce on that Thomas Crown Affair night... I might beg him to leave me a message through my cell phone... and I'll put that up here :) :)

That is your valley girl accent.

I have heard much better than that, but that's not a bad one.

Aw John, come on, I'm not getting at you :) , but that's not nice. It's very brave of Athena to put her voice on the net. Your statement might cause offense. :)

I think her voice is nice, but I'm a sucker for lots of the North American accents in a woman. :)

I was referring to that I have heard girls way more "valley girlish" than Athena's, but she can qualify.

Might I add, Zencat sounds a lot younger than I thought he would.

Well... I did grow up and go to high school and now live in the Valley... so, I suppose I would have a slight Valley Girl accent :) ...I used to hang out at the Starbucks in Encino (song: Valley Girl -by: Moon Unit & Frank Zappa). I'm sure there are times when my vallygirl accent is stronger than others though :)

Very hard to capture the atmospher on film... oh well.. this'll have to do :)
Ok... Pic #1 ... note the water coming up on the side walk...

WOW!

Some of these shots are just incredible! The first one especially did an *awesome* job catching the raindrops! They almost look like tiny hubcaps. :)

It never flooded like that when I lived in California,(Except El Nino, but that was just weird) but I was more north, where it doesn't flood as much.

How much rain did you guys end up getting?

Here, all the snow has been melting today, which means I get to shovel off the soppy, drippy wet snow off the driveway tomorrow. Yay! <sarcasm>. :)
