Thursday, April 22 Actor PIERCE BROSNAN joins Regis and Kelly to talk about working with Julianne Moore in the funny, romantic movie "Laws of Attraction." |

I caught this interview while at work today. They immediately wanted to talk about his Bond work. Regis wanted to keep talking about Bond and at one point, Brosnan said "Do we have to?" The topic then pretty much changed. Our DirecTV guide shows Brosnan on LIVE WITH REGIS AND KELLY today April 22 also.
He said the usual stuff about not knowing what the producers wanted. Kelly was practically hanging all over him. And the women in the audience were pretty appreciative of him also.

On another note, I think Pierce is just as tired of talking about Bond 21 and it's "rumors" as the rest of us.

The movie really worked. Scrip and Plot wise. A lot of romantic-comedies these days are so bland and just don't work right (Along Came Polly, for example). It's rare that you encounter a romantic-comedy that works now a

Haven't seen LoA yet, but I plan on seeing it tomorrow. And, yes, that is a movie theater, one in which this same time next week we will be seeing Van Helsing! Athena gets her girl movie this week, I get my boy movie next week.
Now...
And, yes, that is a movie theater, one in which this same time next week we will be seeing Van Helsing!
I just picked up the new "Wolfman", "Frankenstein, and "Dracula" DVD sets that have all of the respective films on them. 14 films on just 6 DVDs -- Jordan can't be more pleased. I've been waiting for these forever and I'm glad they are finally out!

Would the Audrey we have come to that movie sit there and do "wifey" things like make his coffee and clean up his shoes? Me thinks not. The only thing that was very Audrey in that montage was when she sneaks a brownie because she doesn't want to be caught.
I think the unsung heroine of this film is Frances Fisher as the Moister, or is it Sisther?

I think Audrey would (and did) do those things. Why? Because at that point she is falling more and more in love with him and when that happens you want to do little things to show that love. She wants to hide the fact that she has feelings for him, and so what she does do for him as small things. But they're still messages of "i like you".Would the Audrey we have come to that movie sit there and do "wifey" things like make his coffee and clean up his shoes? Me thinks not. The only thing that was very Audrey in that montage was when she sneaks a brownie because she doesn't want to be caught.

Maybe he should go on a diet and get on the treadmill to get rid of those 'rolls'!Pierce really does choose good rolls. Rolls that he knows he can pull off, rolls where he's comfortable in the skin of the character.

Hehehe, seriously, glad he got some good reviews. He does do good work when given the chance. I hope he does bail Bond and move forward...how about a Thomas 2?

Don't think it'll happened. At the screening of TCA (in LA on March 16th) with Brosnan & Beau St. Clair a TCA2 sounded very unlikly becasue of the plot and idea of the first one not really flowing well into a second film....how about a Thomas 2?

You mean TCA to TCA2? That's the thing, people want happy endings. You know? It's like in life happy endings don't always happen. A lot of people watch movies to escape and a certain genre of films are set up to give you the happy ending. Hey all Bond movies have a happy ending... and they still work continuously. If that hadn't wimped out with the happy ending *&^% it could have worked.
