Oh God, I am soooo stressed out. My flatmate (and v good friend) has been having this long distance relationship for the last 4 months but this week I finally got to meet her man, but he was a total prick. Within seconds of meeting me he was namedropping, being flash with his cash, making rude comments about her weight and then about mine. He also told her that she should burn her Iranian passport (she's half-American and half-Iranian). He is also Scottish, which is never a good thing but really is the least of the problems. Since he left, she cannot stop going on about him, oh he's so hot, he's such a dude, he's so cool ad nauseum. Now it seems to me that it's obvious he's an ugly dork, but that wouldn't be a problem if he weren't so unpleasant. She's driving me nuts and it's getting quite depressing. She has a habit of going for men who treat her badly but even so, it's not really acceptable to tell your best friend that her great love is a cock, so I don't know what to do. Really quite stressed.

Oh dear. Somehow I knew honesty would be the best policy. I think I may take the mature and sensible approach of sticking my head in the sand a while longer, then get completely and utterly pissed and let it all spill out in a tide of vitriol, CNB style.
