I . . . who took the money?
Who took the money away?
I . . . it’s always showtime
Here at the edge of the stage
I, i, i, wake up and wonder
What was the place, what was the name?
We wanna wait, but here we go again...

I . . . takes over slowly
But doesn’t last very long
I . . . no need to worry
Evr’ything’s under control
O - u - t but no hard feelings
What do you know? take you away
We’re being taken for a ride again
I got a girlfriend that’s better than that
She has the smoke in her eyes
She’s moving up, going right through my house
She’s ginna give me surprise
Better than this, know that it’s right
I think you can if you like
I git a girlfriend with bows in her hair
And nothing is better than that

Down, down in the basement
We hear the sound of machines
I, i, I’m driving in circles
Come to my senses sometimes
Why, why, why, why start it over?
Nothing was lost, everthing’s free
I don’t care how impossible it seems

Somebody calls you but you cannot hear
Get closer to be far away
Only one look and that’s all that we need
Maybe that’s all that it takes
All that it takes, all that it takes
All that it takes, all that it takes
I got a girlfriend that’s betther than that
And she goes wherever she likes. (there she
goes...)

I got a girlfriend that’s better than that
Now everyone’s getting involved
She’s moving up going right through my heart
We might not ever get caught
Going right through (try to stay cool) going
through, staying cool
I got a girlfriend that’s better than that
And nothing is better than you

I got a girlfriend thats better that this
And you don’t remember at all
As we get older and stop making sense
You won’t find her waiting long
Stop making sense, stop making sense...stop
making sense, making sense
I got a girlfriend that’s better than that
And nothing is better that this
( is it? )

Thank you for all the wishes.

She really was the sweetest girl ever.I just can't believe that less then a week ago we were talking, texting, etc & now she's buried in the ground. She lives in another state so I couldn't go to the funeral so I couldn't say goodbye. So I just hope she knows how much I valued her friendship.I plan to save up some money to visit her grave site in a few months.

Here she is

And she was very talented in baking. Here's one of the cakes she made.Yes this is a cake!

Terribly sorry to hear that, Cruiserweight. Equally sad to hear you couldn't make it out to the funeral, but that sort of thing happens I suppose. Try to chin up, eh? I know the last person I knew who died was really the only time I was actually upset, and it took a while to wholly get over that, but the day after the funeral I was right back to life, and I suppose at the end of the day that's all we can do. Put on a smile and face the world. Certainly hope you do manage to get out to the gravesite sometime soon.

If there was anyway for me to have gone to the funeral trust me I would have but it was impossible.I live in the midwest & she lives(ed) in Louisiana.I'm just not very experienced with death you know? The only other people that I've ever had die on me were my grandparents & they were in their 70's The fact that she was only 18 & so close to her birthday & in a accident are the things that really get me.Plus I wonder about the small things now.Why couldn't I have gotten to send her one more text,or have one more phone call before this happened or even if there was someway I could have prevented this from happening. Can she hear me when I talk to her now? I'll defintely be going out to the gravesite.Wish it could be sooner but it's an expensive trip to Louisiana.I talked to someone who knew her a little so I asked them if they wanted to come along & they said yes.So when I save up the money I'll actually be greyhounding it to Texas where I'll meet my one friend & then we'll be driving to Louisiana to visit Angie's resting place. It's bittersweet really.I get to meet my friend from Texas & in a way finally get to meet Angie even if the situation is completely different then we planned.I intend to keep my promise to Angie that I'd come down & visit her.I just wish I'd be able to give her a big hug when I get there.

So today, we had our Peer Counseling meeting and we have this thing called the Glass Head which we give to an upstanding member of Peer Counseling, and this morning, I was that member! So now, I keep the head for 2 weeks until the next meeting, and then I get to choose the next person.

Oh, and we get to decorate the head too. I figured I'd bring in my Red Sox cap or my old Celtics cap in. B)

Imo, MGS3 trumps them all, even the classic Metal Gears, and Portable Ops. Dunno if Peace Walker is out yet but I am stoked. Admittedly I'm just a big Big Boss fanboy.

I'm inclined to agree with you there, Tybre, even though I haven't played MGS4 (no PS3), or the original ones... yet.

The US gets Peace Walker in June.

What do you think of the upcoming "MGS: Rising"?

MG and MG2 were fun, but really screwed up in a lot of random ways. Such as: In order to ensure you fight Gray Fox with only your fists, your weapons catch on fire. If I had to rank all the games I would go MGS3 > MGS4 > MGS > MGS2 > Portable Ops > MG2 > MG. Love them all, though.

Nice. Hoping they keep the Japanese cover art for this one, because it's pretty great.

Haven't seen enough about Rising to make a decision. Plenty of rumors, some of which would be awesome and some not so much. Favorite rumor is from before Rising was even announced. Since MGS4 is pretty plainly the end of Snake's story, people were saying the next one should follow Raiden while he was still a cyborg ninja, and according to the MGS database thing that's a free download on the PSN, he broke into Area 51. Forget if that was another assignment or to rescue Sunny, but either way it's awesome. Cyborg ninja in Area 51. Regardless, I'm excited. Kojima may finally be stepping down from directorial duties, something which he said about MGS2, MGS3, and MGS4, but he's built a solid team who know how to make great games. I wouldn't be surprised if after Rising he comes back and does another one of his "MGSX will be the last one for me"s only to come back again, though.
