Also my mother lived in the same town as James Joyce did once. (Not in the same time period though obviously).

Not really all that "obviously". My maternal great grandmother died May 08 at 103, and my maternal great grandfather is still going at 110. That side of the family tends to live for a very long time, though. Dad's side tends to die young. I figure between the two I'll probably last until roughly the average.
