I actually prefer to be taken control of than to do the taking control myself. Too lazy, you see.

I mean, sometimes it's easier to be told what's for dinner instead of having to decide what to eat; or you go to buy blue paint but you can't decide between blue no.1 and blue no.2, then you find they've run out of blue no.1, so by default blue no.2 is chosen for you. You see what I'm on about?

This is probably the only place to say it, as I haven't dared mention it to my friends or family as it'll upset them, but I have a very strong feeling of terrible, terrible foreboding. Something bad is about to happen, I mean on a personal level only. My feeling is mostly that I'm going to be arrested at Dubai airport, and I know why, but that may just be misdirection. Can't tell those who know me as they also know that my feelings have a horrible habit of being spot on, whether for good or bad. I think it's one of those women's intuition things. Anyway, there it is, I'm feeling scared of whatever it is. Really, I'm not that weird, this stuff just happens :cooltongue: - to me at least.

I know this is gonna sound cheesy, but seriously, I'll pray for safety for the next few days and for your trip if you like. Hopefully you will be able to rest easier. :cooltongue:

Thank you, I do appreciate it :cooltongue:. I know it sounds odd but there is a very good reason for me to fear I'll be arrested at the airport which, obviously, I can't share, but it will be entirely self inflicted if it happens and I'll probably deserve it. It's karma, I suppose, our sins always catch us up in the end and I have more then most, I'm afraid.

Turns out you were wrong :cooltongue:. I got away with it at the airport but the problem has manifested itself in a different form, but I think I can handle this one.

Hmmm, I started with a whirlpool tub with wide-spread Moen faucets that everything worked fine on a few days ago. Today I draw a bath for a sick kid and the cold water only trickles out. I crawl half under the vanity to the access, shut-off the cold water, check everything visually, and turn it back on. Still just a trickle.

Anyone with plumbing knowledge that can steer me towards the culprit? Would a bad Moen cartridge cause that, or is this more likely a clogged line of some sort?

Loose set screw on the faucet handle, perhaps?

I pulled the faucet apart and reassembled, still just a trickle. I can't get a feel for if the pressure is good at the faucet, or if the problem is further up the line.

I don't much want to pay a plumber when I on a job search! :cooltongue:

I'm not a plumber, but have a pretty good knowlege of electronics. The subjects are synomonous. If that is the only tap that isn't working, how about a kink in the flex hose? If not, I'm out of guesses. Cash in on the Moen warranty.

There is no flex hose, this is a soldered pipe setup. I'd cash-in on the warranty if I was sure the problem was with the cartridge, but I can't even get it out to see! I posted the question on a plumbing forum, we'll see what responses pop up tomorrow. Doesn't bother me to wait - I've never used this tub!

Just like a star across my sky.
Just like an angel off the page.
You have appeared to my life.
Feel like I'll never be the same.
Just like a song in my heart.
Just like oil on my hands.
Oh...I do love you......
