There is really something sexy about her. She's not the classic Bond girl sexy. But she seems one of those women who can look the normal girl on the street but then 'turn it on' and make you think dirty thoughts. This would have been perfect for a character like the book's Gala Brand. It's a darn shame they are dropping that name.

Yes. Looks quite yummy in the press conference photos.

The photo of her with pics of the other Bond girls certainly has the right Bond girl look that you guys have been referring to. I can see the resemblances to both Honor Blackman and Daniela Bianchi, at least in that pic. In that pic she looks like she could be a bad girl but one who turns the corner, and in the press conference pic she looks more like a good girl. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Gosh, not knowing who Bond ends up with or who the main villain is only makes me more curious, and it's kind of fun.

What is particularly interesting, is that she is not a Denise Richards-like. I mean she is not a former top model and she did some shakespearian acting. So she is butiful and has what it need to act. That s sound great to me !

I can't state my opinion on this until I see her in action. Sexiness, for me anyway, is a combination of looks and brains. I think I misjudged Rosamund at first but I'm starting to warm up to her. Albeit very slowly.

I thought Denise Richards was sexy when I first saw photos from TWINE, but after seeing the film I thought otherwise. She didn't have brains. And then the DVD came out... WOW! Just when I thought she couldn't be any less attractive (lack of intelect REALLY hurts the physical attractiveness) she comes across as such a overly perky, dumb, high school girl.

However, in the photo on this page she looks much better. I wouldn't say she looks drop dead gorgeous but she certainly looks above par.

That was funny. My sentiments exactly. Since I'm on the Rosamund/sexy thread,
I'll say that she did an excellent job in the film, but wasn't quite the sexiest of Bond girls. Sorry.

She's good-looking, sure. But I find she just looks like pretty much every other upper middle-class Englishwoman of that age. She reminds me of Joss Stone, oddly, who's also pretty, but if you walk around Cornwall I'm sure you'd find thousands of girls who look like her (but don't have the voice). I thought the Pikester was fine in the role, but she wasn't exactly sexy or even especially menacing. Imagine if that had been a younger Amanda Donohoe or Miranda Richardson in that role.

Heehee... I watched a little bit of DAD when it was on last night and found myself banging my head on the table during the whole 'mouthful-predator-feast-etc-etc' scene, screaming out: "No! No! Noooo..."

As for the beach bar scene in DAD - it contained just about the clunkiest dialogue I've ever heard in a big budget film. It was poorly scripted, acted and edited; from then on the film seemed to die a little, which is a shame because there was a lot to like about the first half of DAD.
