I don't think I've seen Roger moore in a good non-Bond film (Not that I've seen many).

SHOUT AT THE DEVIL, FFOLKES or WILD GEESE...You never liked those? What about THE SEA WOLVES?

Oh and if YOU rent it, Qwerty... I don't know how your parent are, but you might not want to turn it on infront of yout parents... you might get in a bit of trouble. :)

Thanks for the tip, Athena. Are there alot of "bad" parts? My parents allow me to buy "R" movies so they shouldn't mind...

I hope. :)

I believe the film was slated for it's unashamed gay-bashing and 'poof jokes'. Oh those homosexuals are good for poking fun at aren't they? Say, lets do it for two hours and make money from it!

One wonders if the writers, producers or director can collectively spell 'plebe'?

No but I like to be able to say "I got blah-blah today." without them saying "What's that one about?"

I guess I won't be doing that with this one. :)

Ah! Wild Geese! I forgot about that. Now that was a quality action flick.

I bought it for $7.99 today for only one reason - Roger Moore. Is it any good? I have never seen it so I hope it is.

I bought Boat Trip for a similar reason: Roselyn Sanchez is in it... with a banana.

Sad to say, even the Puerto Rican Love Goddess couldn't save the sinking ship known as "Boat Trip."

I think the postive might have wrongly outweighed the negatives on this purchase Righty.

" Dim-witted, stereotypical folly of mistaken sexuality when two straight men looking for a vacation to score with lots of lonely women discover they were booked for an all-gay cruise. Oscar-winner Gooding, still likable, wallows in this uncomfortable and insulting farce, especially at one point dressed as a cabana drag queen (!). Every inch of this movie gives comedy a bad name."

It was okay. I can't believe Roger Moore was in it but his association is why I'm not mad at myself for buying it. The DVD menu is very unique. I think they should have used computers to cover up the mole on the sun bather on the far left. :)

:) is a bad word?

Words of Wisdom:

"When the rabbit of chaos is pursued by the ferret of disorder through the fields of anarchy, it is time to hang your pants on the line of darkness. Whether they are clean or not." - The Chief (Roger Moore)

"The headless chicken can only know where he's been. He can't see where he's going." - The Chief (Roger Moore)

Not for the last name of the actor I know you speak of, used in other forms though...

Kind of an odd thing, that his name shares with that for a crude word. I see your point however.

I've seen the movie too and that's Roger Moore told himself recently about this controversial role: "Had I been opposed to playing a gay character, I wouldn't have made the film! I actually thought it sounded great fun, and I would be playing against type - for a change. It was fun to make and aside from one letter from a Greek fan, or ex-fan as he wrote; everyone enjoyed seeing me camp it up. :)
