LOL! Sounds like a great person to play GoldenEye with! :) He hasn't been on CBn in a while.

Hehe Yes Rorys great fun to play games
with - Got to keep an eye on him though!

He's not been online because he's busy
with uni work plus it's his birthday in
two days on the 8th so he's probably
getting ready for his big 20th celebration!

Zelda was very long indeed! I found if I left
the game for a week or two it was very hard
to pick it back up. I also found this with
Super Mario 64. I still haven't completed
it! I think i should face the facts - I'm
[censored] at all games!!

(except diddy of course :) )

LOL yes same here.

Zelda was enough to put me off games
for life!! It was fun to start of with
when there's little people with funny
ears prancing about but then it got
complicated!

Officially the worse game in the WHOLE
world for me was 'Ten eighty snowboarding'

Has anyone played it?

I didn't use any cheats myself. It was very frustrating and took many, MANY attempts, but I did eventually beat it. But Wheels is right - use the MP5 (I forget what they call it in the game, but that's what it really is anyway) and use the scope. You'll eventually get him to the point that he will occasionally expose himself to take shots at you, and for that I suggest using the M4.

thanks jack and jw i will give it another go, i dont resort to cheats unless i am completely frustrated, by the way what did you guys think of the new max payne?, i really liked it even better than the first one

Max Payne 2 is a really good sequel game - very consistent with the first, making it a great continuation, while still managing to keep things fresh and interesting. Good story development, too. I also really love the small doses of humor they put in the game - very well-thought out and just over-all clever.

My only complaints are that the load times are far too long, and the game is overall rather brief.

The best gaming experiences that I have had on the PC were playing Valve's Half-Life and Gray Matter Studio's Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Both games had great storylines, characters, and environments. I especially like the use of sound in Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

Honorable mention goes to Unreal, Doom, and Doom 2.

It's always a fun game! A little annoying sometimes, but fun. :)
