Noone ever mentions the 'classic' Living Daylights laser gun game fo systems such as the ZX Spectrum.

Countless hours were spent being annoyed to tears by that 'game', truely memorable.

Lest we forget the B side Q branch message that made your Zapper into a signature gun... "this is the property of her majestys government...how did you get this!"
Daltons response, was frenquently my response to the game.

I'm a very big fan of shooting games (FPS, mostly). Some games that are on my list of shooters are AUF and NF (console version), the Max Payne series, among others.

I have an odd feeling that playing GoldenEye multiplayer with you would be very fun indeed. :)

I have a philosphy for that game: Shoot, and shoot alot. The more bullets and explosions, the better. :)

That's the spirit! I think I've killed myself more than anyone else in that game 'cause I shoot everything (including all the explosives as I run past them) :) But it's soooo much fun.

I'm a fan of pretty much all of the Bond games (except for TND - that was just ****), as well as the Metal Gear Solid and Max Payne series.

A great shooter game (even better than GoldenEye, IMO) is Timesplitters 2. Very, very fun.

The recent comicbook shooter, XIII, is also a lot of fun.

I was at one point, completely hooked in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2001, i completely owned that game. Back in the day, Mario Kart was pretty cool.

Well, I'll do it this way. I'll list three of my favourites - one that I used to play in the oast, one I play now, and one that I am looking forward to getting.

Future - Perfect Dark Zero, the prequel to one of my all time favourites.
Present - Probably TOCA Race Driver (Xbox). I find it addictive.
Past - Either Perfect Dark or GoldenEye. Great fun.

Don't know about any cheats, but what I did was had the M5 or whatever, with the scope, and ran around for a while untill he stoped throwing things for a minute, and then I would shoot at the tan bolts that held the platform he was on, then shot the bolts that held the spike above him.

I didn't use any cheats myself. It was very frustrating and took many, MANY attempts, but I did eventually beat it. But Wheels is right - use the MP5 (I forget what they call it in the game, but that's what it really is anyway) and use the scope. You'll eventually get him to the point that he will occasionally expose himself to take shots at you, and for that I suggest using the M4.

Oh don't pitty mrmoon!! He was a right
crafty little minx!!

He used to make out he had forgotten
where the guns were on the levels and
where the bullets were etc.

He used to convince me it was best
to play with the 'Golden gun' as the
weapons.(The gun that you die with just
one shot)

Then when I'd ask him
where on the level the gun and
bullets were he was all like "I
haven't got a clue Rach" the next
thing I know... BANG! He'd shot a
golden bullet through my head!!

I like Diddy Kong racing also for N64
because thats the only game in the world
I'm actually good at (Even though it's
for 9 year olds!)

:)

Well for a start I have to put down:

No One Lives Forever. I completed it 3 times and didn't get bored!

Super Smash Bros. This game MAKES you hate your friends.

And yes, GoldenEye. For 1001 reasons.

The game that got me snapping at my friends
and family was Zelda Ocarina of time. That
game used to get me well stressed out! I
gave up on the game two years ago and then
tried to start again a few months back but
it still does the same to me so it's back
in it's case for another few years!! :)

LOL! Sounds like a great person to play GoldenEye with! :) He hasn't been on CBn in a while.

It is always fun though, to pull those types of tricks in GoldenEye, it's a great game for it! :)

I also have to agree with you that Zelda was a long and sometimes confusing game, but I always enjoyed it! :)

The Ocarina of Time irritated the pants off me cos it was so damned tricky! And the Wind Waker had the same effect but fot the opposite reason - cos it was so easy!

Metroid Prime has me angry again! I have a habit of punishing games by putting them back in their boxes for weeks on end and only taking them out again when they have learned their lesson never to piss me off again!

Yes, although after playing 'Majora's Mask' after it, I actually wished for a sequel more similar to 'Ocarina', this sequel didn't match the first, and that's too bad, because I had looked forward to it being even better for a while.

Although, I haven't played either in a long time, it may be time just to pop them in and check them out again.
