This is amazing. I'm trying to watch OHMSS on SPIKE TV's "Thanksgiving James Bond Marathon" and, well, this isn't a James Bond marathon, it's a freakin' commercial marathon! Check it out.

Bond Girl #1 [a.k.a. Mrs. Derringer] has promised me the box DVD sets for Christmas. She promised this while we were in Vegas, and Bryce 003 is my witness. So she had better deliver!

I thought it was just me.
Zencat's absolutely right on this call everyone. I suggest watching only if you are trapped at some relative's house and away from your DVD's.
*Bryce throws on OHMSS DVD*
Ooooo....Widescreen.....

Why is it that we pay for cable again? Wasn't the original deal that we could get commercial free TV if we pay a fee? Now we just pay for commercial TV. *shakes head*
What really bad about this SPIKE thing is it's the same annoying (and loud) commercials over and over again.

Well they want you to be softened up and have an overwhelming urge to go holiday shopping tomorrow.
But I would rather watch the James Bond marathon, with the continous interuption by commercials, on Spike TV than to deal with my relatives.

No, USA only owns the rights to GoldenEye.
Spike TV really does massacre these movies and I would never think about sitting down and watching a whole movie. It's unbearable! But so far I have been quite content with catching snippits here and there. I wish TBS would get the rights to the Bond movies again. It was always so fun when they would air them, and it was something to get excited about.

I just noticed the same thing -- they went right into FRWL from OHMSS. The reason for this is they don't want you to channel surf. They want you hooked on the next one fast. Then they zap you with the endless commercials.

Don't kill me Guy's, when I was in 'Santa Maria' California in 1992 I watched 'Eddie Murphy' in 'Coming To America'. The movie started and as soon as the titles finished there was an ad break. It's a marathon watching a 90 minute feature in the States. By the time the movie started again I have forgotten what I was watching. I thought it was bad over here. LOL.
Our 'Wheel of Fortune' is played for 'points' not 'cash'. I can remember a Guy winning a House, a Car, A Boat, and about $30,000.00. Over here you either win a Car or

Anyways, I'm attempting to watch "The Living Daylights," in between the commercials. What's worse, the cable provider has to break in during Spike's ads with their own local ones. One can only tolerate the woman deluded enough to think The Weather Channel is talking to her ("Don't wear that, it's gonna rain!"), or the ref/jewelry shill begging us to buy diamond Packers earrings (the drawback to being a Badger Stater), or Neo from Matrix Direct to a certain point.
