That makes sense to me. Can anyone figure out this number, and if it is a coordinant it is located in California, but I just can't find specifically where.

I thought they could movie box office numbers...or something in that neighborhood. I think they are co-ordinates, but unfortunately I have no way of determining that.

If you subtract the numbers as requested, you get - 7987433. Does that make sense to anyone.

Someone who knows this reminds me...is the combination Mr. *'s birthday and BC's anniversary, or is it BC's birthday and Mr. *'s anniversary.

MSG does stand for Mono-Sodium Glutamate.

It a flavor enhancing additive and preservative.

I wonder.....

Longitude and Latitude are in hours, minutes and seconds.

The minus refers to West of the zero point in Grennich (sp?).

This would definately place the location on the West coast of the United States, somewhere north of San Francisco and east of there. Hmmm.

Los Angeles is located at 34:03 LAT -118:15 LONG
San Diego is located at 32:42 LAT -117:10 LONG
Long Beach is located at 33"46 LAT -118"11 LONG
San Jose is located at 37:20 LAT -121:53

And so on.

From East to west there are 180 hours.

Minutes and seconds are listed from 0 to 59 and then roll over to minutes, just like time.

Look at them again...we should be able to triangulate, if they fit that model?

It would appear it does not, unless you roll the numbers over.

I think the location is somewhere in Nevada, near Goldfield. Or Gold Point.
That would REALLY be sick, with the 'gold' thing. Wish I could get it more accurate.

The 00 Section receive an encrypted e-mail from M herself:

From: M
To: 00Section
Subject: Semper Occultus: Andrew Berry

Agents, Ladies & Gentlemen of the JIC,

Now the facts are more substantial about Andrew's death I can finally write this memorandum to you all. Agents, I need not tell you that this message must be disposed of with haste once read.

0012 was found dead yesterday night (time as yet unestablished), shortly after his last communique with HQ. He received a fatal shot to the head, additionally, and somewhat more gruesomely, Andrew recieved injuries further to just the fatal shot. His left eye had been removed.

My instincts tell me that he had been getting close to an organisation known as FELINE, who he had been researching for several months, and was promptly terminated for meddling with their affairs. The details are sketchy, more when I receive word on them.

This case must not be made personal, execute your objectives with precision and with a clear state of mind.

FELINE... it's the bloody cat! And his eye had been removed... either this means the cat now has his eye and we should be looking out for an eyepatch-less persian cat... or it is just a very very sick game the cat is playing with us.

Kurgansall from the lab sends his report:

From: J. Kurgansall
To: 00Section
Subject: Sperm Sample DNA Results from sheep skin condom

No exact match to DNA sample could be found. We in the lab appologise for the delay, but the test result were so odd on the first three attempts that we felt it mandatory to check all of the equipment thoroughly before running the test again.

While we could still could find no exact match, we can tell you that the person from the sample has the odd coincidence of having every single known gentic disposition to disease and cancer.

I shouldn't really even mention this, but strangly other than these mentioned oddities the closest match seem to be the sample we have for agent 007. Funny that.

What a just a bloomin second! First of all, the name is Slash, 0012 reporting, and I'm fine really. Good to know people get worried when I go to the shops for some milk and take a little too long :). Anyway, I presume the corpse found was a decoy, yet another trap set up by the feline.

I think you’re on to something there 004, but it can’t be minutes and second because the 74410 starts with a seven. Decimal point coordinates maybe?

Okay, Clue. Looking at the number here, is it possible that they could form a word using the Russian alphabet?

It's official: That is one sick cat.

The background does look like it could be in Nevada... then again it could be anywhere... and the subject line says 'not even close'.

C'mon people, let's stick our heads together.

Thank you Matt... So what do we do? Send someone out there? Better not send someone alone, we all know what happened to 0012... The cat says if you go there, you're next.

(btw, Silver Peak is a ghost town... an excellent loctaion for the cat to hide)

Excellent work indeed.

And to add to that I tracked those coordinates. They point right at Alcatraz Island.

No, not the Alcatraz Island in San Francisco, This Alcatraz Island is actually a mountain just south of...

(wait for it)

...Silver Peak, Nevada.
