Righty007:
1. Live and Let Die
2. The Spy Who Loved Me
3. A View To A Kill
4. The World Is Not Enough
5. Die Another Day
Does anyone have any recommendations on which soundtrack I should buy next? I was thinking On Her Majesty's Secret Service, is that any good? Thanks.
After listing the soundtracks you own, you can post anything else relating to the remastered soundtracks here.

2. Goldfinger
3. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
4. Goldeneye
5. Tomorrow Never Dies
6. And coming soon: The Living Daylights
I really like OHMSS (I listen to it often) but I have the original and unremastered edition, which is minus many tracks. Does anybody think I should buy the remastered edition? It has at least five more tracks (and good ones at that).
Oh, and Righty, you say you have AVTAK? I'm not an expert but I thought that was only released in Japan or something.

OHMSS is a definite must, righty007, along with the other expanded issues: GF, TB, YOLT, and DAF.
Once you have these expanded titles you really should try (monetary aspect a major consideration of course) and complete the set with FYEO and TLD. I know these are no diferent to earlier Ryko releases but they do complete the whole set.

Are they 'never heard before' tracks, or are some of them found on the 30th anniversary CD?

By the way I only bought the 40th ann (GF, TB, YOLT, OHMSS, DAF and LALD) since I own all of them.

A local store had a good deal on the soundtracks on CD, $10.99 each, so I thought that I would replace my worn out casettes and LPs. I haven't picked up "A View to a Kill" yet, and I am still debating if I am going to get "Dr. No".
Regarding the On Her Majesty's Secret Service Remastered CD, get it! If you have the previous soundtrack release, replace it with the Remastered CD. The bonus tracks are some of my favorite tracks in the entire soundtrack, and include:
"Gumbold's Safe"
"Who Will Buy My Yesterday's"
"Blofeld's Plot"
These are the best compositions in the entire soundtrack. I cannot believe that it has taken this long to get them. I realize that they couldn't include all of the music in the original soundtrack release in 1969, but you would think that they would have issued the complete soundtrack before 34 years had passed.

I also recently bought the (1992) James Bond 30th Anniversary 2-CD Limited Edition Set.
I LOVE THOSE BONUS TRACKS! Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang by Dionne Warwick and also by Shirley Bassey is just screaming excitement.
I also love the version of You Only Live Twice by Julie Christie (although the album credits her as 'demo title'. It's a slow slow, but her powerful voice at the end is perfect.

You can imagine how cool it was to acquire that soundtrack 11 years ago when it brand new. I got it for my birthday and that second CD was mind-blowing. Here were tracks a lot of us didn't have any access to before as well as demos and things. It really whetted the appetite for more. Too bad it took so long, but it's beter late than never.

Thank goodness they put the previously unreleased tracks from Thunderball onto the remastered soundtrack CD.
"Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" by Shirley Bassey and then Dione Warwick was pretty interesting.

- On Her Majesty's Secret Service *NEW*
- Diamonds Are Forever
- Live and Let Die
- The Spy Who Loved Me
- A View To A Kill
- The World Is Not Enough
- Die Another Day
Other:
- The Best of James Bond: 30th Anniversery (1992)
Questions:
1. Are they planning on re-releasing the TND, TWINE, and DAD soundtracks to match the rest of the collection?
2. Have they tried to buy the rights to the LTK soundtrack so that it can be re-released in the remastered collection?

The Goldfinger tracks add the cues that once were in the UK LP pressing (which appeared in the 30th Anniversary Ultra Set). It also fixes the 'Into Miami' cue into its proper place; immediately after the main titles.
Most of the remastered Thunderball soundtrack adds music from the 'Thunderball Suite' in the 30th Anniversary Ultra Set, plus a few cues appearing for the first time.

...Actually that's Julie Rogers doing Barry's first attempt at a YOLT main title. From Geoff Leonard's excellent Barry website:
"However, Graham Rye, is not a man to be defeated by any Bond mystery, and after a few plays of the song he was convinced that the singer was Julie Rogers, best known in the UK for her hit
