what is the deal with brosnan and his running? i noticed it in goldeneye all the way up to DAD, but in DAD it was the worst i have seen him do. i have never seen a bond run like he does ever, i just wonder why he does it so strange :)

someone else besides me must have noticed his odd running style - and it seems to get worse with each movie

At least he runs, Roger Moore's Bond rarely ran, thats cause Moore hated the way he looked when he ran.

Actually when Brosnan runs he reminds me of the running style of the bad shape changing murderous police guy out of the Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

Ya watch roger run... Very funny. Especially in the boat sequences and there abouts in LALD.

Brosnan runs like a bit of a pansy as well. Funny :)

Yes, I have noticed that... In the first 4 Brosnan movies he ran fine, especially in TWINE, but in DAD it was horrible. He ran like a fairy.

He has sort of a comical run. He moves his arms up too much and has a blank expression on his face. It cracks me up every time.

Yes, I noticed his running as well - I blame Vic Armstrong! But have a look at Brosnan's walk as well, it gets barmier with each film. Try Havana.

Um, ok. Personally, I'm not going to look into how somebody runs and think about it a lot. Pierce's running I really don't care about. People debating how Pierce runs, now that scares me.

You're not alone, Bondfinesse. That scene imediately came to my mind when I read the title of this thread. It looks strange, a bit too exerted. James Boldman's comparsion with the T2 guy hits the nail on it's head. If any guy would run away for real in this style, he'd be exhausted after 100 meters.

He holds his arms with his elbows tucked in, like an insect or a kangaroo or something bizarre. I noticed that. Of course, Connery kinda...minced a little bit.

I think the reason why he ran awkwardly in Die Another Day was because he was coming off a knee injury. Also he has to run in a non friendly running environments, like snow and mud. Snow when he goes to the Ice Palace and mud in North Korea. Other than that I haven't really noticed anything big about his running. Seems normal to me.

I thought he was running very strange in TWINE in the caviar sequence, when he runs un front of the helicopter! You should check it out. The way his hips move!

You think he looks stupid running? You should see the way he sits!
