Way too early for titles to be appearing, I'd say. As for Jenifer Lopez? Could be true, I guess.

I don't see how they can make another AP film because they just keep recycling the same old jokes in a new form. The jokes were funny in the first film but they got old when used again in Goldmember.

Comedy movies in a large scale sense do not appeal to me. I saw them and I laughed at parts, but I don't own them nor care to see them multiple times.

So I'm at the barber the other day, and he tells me that Halle Berry was starring in the 4th Austin Powers flick. *scoffs*

The guy hates Timothy Dalton, so what would he know? I didn't dare tell him that because you don't mess with someone wielding a pair of scissors just inches from your head.

Yes, we get the point, you dont like the Austin Powers films. No need to keep posting here just to say that, once is enough.

As for me, I love the Powers films, and look forward to seeing the fourth one as well.

I love the Austin Powers movies. They're practically part of pop culture now. Dr. Evil is probobly the funniest character ever put on screen. My favorite is the first one, followed by TSWSM and then GM.

I agree, which is why I'm not holding out any hope that AP4 will be any better than the last three.

I think the novelty has worn off some what, hence the slide in the franchise.

Aye, I woudl agree with that. Especially after GM, I can't see where they can lead the plot to, although I'm sure they'll come up with soem crazy idea. Just by the 3rd movie, I wasn't laughing as much as I did for the first ones.

I have to say I prefer The Spy Who Shagged Me, but yeah, I did notice there was a lack of originality in the two sequels.

Perhaps a fourth will be alright if they come up with some new ideas. Which they just may have to do, given that the ending of the third one pretty much screwed over all the characters.

Here is lyrics for the title song for the new Austin Powers movie, For Your Thighs Only :):

For your thighs only, you can see me through the night
For your thighs only, I never need to hide
You can see so much in me
so much in me that's new
I never felt, until I looked at you

For your thighs only, only for you
You see what what no one else can see
No one's breaking free
For your thighs only, only for you
The love I know you need in me
The fantasy you freed in me
Only for you, only for you

For your thighs only, the nights are never cold
You really knew me, that's all I need to know
Maybe I'm an open book
Because I know your mind
But you won't need to read between the lines

For your thighs only, only for you
You see what no one else can see
No one's breaking free
For your thighs only, only for you
The passions that collide in me
The wild abandonned side of me
Only for you, for your thighs only

Another movie?

Oh dear! :)

I enjoyed the first two, but it was only really Micahel Caine who made Goldmember watchable. If they do make another one, I hope this time they write a script with more than 4 jokes in it.

Goldmember was more of a parody of the Austin Powers series instead of the Bond series, which is why I find the first two funnier.

I've enjoyed the Austin Powers series but I feel that the movies have thinned out a bit in the substance area. The first flick had a decnt plot and really lampooned the Bond/Spy genre of the series.
I love the seen where Dr. Evil tries to come with a world dominating plot only find that his ideas have already come to furition with no real impact on the world and he shrugs and says "*****. Well let's just do what we always do. Hijack some nuclear weapons and hold the world for ransom. Agreed?"
I laugh each time I see that scene.

The only person around here with "one hell of a problem" is you for thinking everyone has to like the Austin Powers series. If BONDFINESSE 007 doesn't like the Austin Powers series, so what? It's his opinion and everyone is entitled to their own. JimmyBob, never ever diss one of my friends again.
